What do you want AI to change about travel?
I think when I am planing a trip, the webiste (Delta or kayak) knows that I have checked frequently and knows I really want to go on trip, so it actually raises price or doesn’t lower it for me
I’ve noticed this phenomenon as well. If AI is keeping track of your social and web history searches, they’ll know how to dynamically raise “your” prices.
Lol, sites have been doing that for decades. They're called (browser) cookies. They never needed AI to utilize that. Block them or view in a private window.
I still prefer the human to human interaction when booking certain things
Ever thought about becoming a travel business owner @baconburgeronly
Believe me your desire will change when AI exceed humans in everything even in taking care of your deep emotional needs of having a connection while you book or doing anything else!
@Constance James Actually went to school for just that sort of thing, but because of covid, I couldn't see that happening, but now I think I could start down that path.
Shut AI down
Nope, too many benefits for humanity. It’s too late anyways, since the cat is out of the bag and open source allowed anyone to make their own. The best course of action is to mitigate the harm and maximize the benefits, set up regulations, align it properly, etc.
