I became aware of this country's existence because of a comment on a video from Impression Blend where a viewer left a comment mentioning that their native language is Dhivehi (the language of Maldives) and since I'm a aspiring linguist I looked it up and found out about Maldives. It's very beautiful

There´s an awesome alternative to Maldives. Just above them there´s an archipelago called Laquedives whose landscape look the same and its way too cheaper than the Maldives. On top of that, you wont find too many tourists there.
