This is a re-upload from when we first started the channel. I had to re-cut it for copyright reasons but also we received a lot of feedback from people who didn't appreciate the amount of talking during the film so I did my best to re-cut it in a way that flows much better, I took it from over 52 minutes to just about 34 minutes. I hope you all enjoy *Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of t...

Hey have you guys seen The Pacific yet? Its like totally assume
I (Tracy, the guy) have seen it but it was a LONG time ago and I was going through some pretty heavy personal stuff, so I don't know how much I retained. Kelly has not seen it, so it is DEFINITELY on the list.
Four minutes, 36 seconds in and I'm bailing. Non-stop talking, talking over the movie, listening to nothing. BYE
Oh no! Please come back! You seem so nice lol.
What if I told you, you can just watch the movie with no one reacting to it....
@@firstcityviews I saw it in the theater in 1986. We LISTENED
How come nobody ever says "Holy cow, PRESIDENT TRUMAN pinned that medal on Doss!!"
Fun fact: This movie is "loosely" based on Raymond Chandler's novel, The Big Sleep. The novel has a similar conclusion.
Jackie Treehonrn's drawing cracks me up every time. The fact that he's talking on the phone and idly draws that, is hilarious.
Definitely my biggest laugh.
"This movie was brought to you by the letter "C." "C" stands for Coen ... and Cow, for Clooney, ... oh, and for Comedy!"
Fun fact: It was the kid's first screen role. Knocked it out of the park in one turn.
Aww dang. They got me.
Almost everyone makes this mistake, including me and my wife, she didn't mention it during the reaction but we talked about it afterwards and I had to tell her they aren't the same guy lol.
@@firstcityviews can totally tell when they put them side by side but always assumed he passed udun up in the stairwell because he talked captain into letting him go
These men are truly part of our greatest generation. IMHO there is no question about that.
100%
They weren't part of it, they were the reason for it.
Dracula dead and loving it is another great one!
Have you seen the original Frankenstein films this is spoofing
When they were wearing them fake beards and singing " In the Jail house now " That was that guy really singing.
Big cobb playing the bad guy makes this classic even better
Actually it was particularly warm when they filmed it. So they did have to put fake snow everywhere.
I literally sound like Maude or Knox when I speak English

The running Manish another good arnie movie aswell
I love Michael bein he is my favourite character in this movie love him
He is also great in Tombstone.
If you didn't know anything about the movie, how is it not what you expected?
Based off the other Coen movies we've seen.
Other Cohen Brothers films: Millers Crossing, The Big Lebowski, Burn After Reading and yoiu have already seen No Country for Old Men.
My first Cohan and a Classic. I am Older!
Francis McDormet! From Fargo.
Did Skylar ask Will to marry her? What is the context of her request? Marriage? Engagement? Housemate in Cali who does all the housework? What exactly is she asking of Will? Why would she expect him to leave everything, to uproot his entire life?
Damon and.Affleck wrote this for Harvey Keitel after seeing him in Reservoir Dogs. When Keitel turned it down they still referred to it as the "Keitel part".
How can a person not just love, respect, and admire these men! They may not believe themselves to have been heros, but they are. They absolutely are. Real men. Good men. I would have loved to spent time with each of them hearing their stories about their lives. They are all amazing people and what wisdom and insight into life these men surely had. God bless them.
The student confronting gene wilder in the beginning? He voiced Brainy Smurf of the Smurfs TV show
The Coen bros are genius of director writer's and I hope you react to they're other music film inside llewyn davis. And They have plenty of great films Barton fink True grit ballad of buster scruggs No country for old men Blood simple
Thanks for the suggestions! We also did Big Labowski and Fargo, check those out if you get a chance.
Tim Blake Nelson is only one who sang for real
At the beginning the clock chimes 13 times. Inspector Kemp was in a lot of great movies but he was surprisingly the voice of king triton in the original Animated Little Mermaid.
Whoa! That's amazing!
Scar Jo and Sam got nominated, but for some reason- the Academy hardly ever nominates kids- this movie works because the boy playing JoJo is SO GOOD!
if a person doesn't cry at the 'big reveal' scene- they're inhuman.
John Goodman is on FIRE in this 😂...
Absolutely LOVED your reaction guys. I love this movie and have seen it many times. (I'd love to see John Goodman play this role again as well 😊) But your reaction as I watch it today, right now, reminds me just how funny this film from the Coen brothers is... It's all good
One of my favorite scenes is the cab scene where both the dude and the cab driver are so irritated while simultaneously listening to "peaceful easy feeling" by the eagles
4:14--Richard Haydn (the voice of Clyde Crashcup in the original Alvin and the Chipmunks)
Your Wife need sometimes a hug from you!!! 😊❤
The multi-award winning actor who plays Margie is Francis McDormand who by the way is married to one of rhe Coen brothers and is in all their movies. She won the Oscar for her performance in this movie.
Rightly so.
Apparently what the US soldiers didn't know about the leg bag was to hold it when jumping out and then letting it dangle.
That's wild!
In all these years and the 100's of times I've watched some or all of this movie, I've still never been able to figure out one important thing....was Smoky over the line or not?
HAHAHAHAHA!!!
What a fantastic reaction to surely career-best roles for Bridges and Goodman😂😂😂
Thanks so much. This movie was an absolutely pleasure to react to.
Mel Brooks told Conan O'Brien of his battle to make sure "Young Frankenstein" was made in black and white film stock. "The producers went as far as attempting to trick Brooks by feigning acceptance of releasing the film in black and white, provided he would shoot it on color stock. To quote Brooks, “I said ‘No, because you’ll screw me, you will say this, and then in order to save the company you’ll risk a lawsuit, and you will print everything in color. It’s gotta be on Agfa black and white thick film.”
I laughed so hard when I saw this movie at the theatre I almost peed my pants. I thought it was supposed to be a comedy, yall said sad.
When did we say this movie was sad?
My grandma taught me to get chickadees to answer. I've practiced other birds since. It depends on the bird. Some birds don't respond well, probably because I don't sound perfect, but others do respond. I think that scene is plausible.
Was going to subscribe to your channel, but the constant inappropriate giggling at scenes that weren’t really funny was too annoying… staying unsubscribed but good luck anyway
Oh no! You seem like such a nice guy! Please don't leave us....
Out of all the reactions to the movie I've seen, this might be my top one, because you guys really do appreciate every subtle bit of comedy that comes from the absurdity of the situations, whereas other channels tend to take the movie more at face value. I mean, it's a pretty grim tale on the surface of course, but the way the events play out combined with the dialogue and the unforgettable Midwestern mannerisms makes Fargo quite an entertaining experience
Thanks so much. It's obvious to us that this is a thriller mixed with tons of absurd, character based comedy. But, if you scroll down a bit, you'll see some comments about how we are terrible people for finding anything funny about this totally serious crime thriller, lol.
11:40--Robert Johnson reference---he wrote "Crossroads" (covered by Cream)
One of the top 3 most rewatchable movies ever made lol 😂
It's about time for a rewatch!
You should check out the first movie in the series Seoul Station
One of the funniest movies ever made..still to this day
