one thing to note is the kid actress doesn't have an idea that the father will die in the end and so her acting here was purely her emotion while filming. this girl's acting is phenomenal and deserved any acting awards that the world could offer!
That's wild! She was incredible, great performances all around from dad to the main heel guy.
Even watching clips in a reaction, this movie kicks me right in the feels. That little girl deserved an Oscar for her performance.
Absolutely! All the acting was top notch, I even love the main heel guy, he is so easy to hate!
Korean movies and series are amazing!!! I’ve been watching Korean entertainment nonstop for the last 5 years.
Been meaning to check out Squid Game forever.
Same. But to me it's asian movies and series overall. Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, etc...
I enjoy almost all asian media, they really do know how to do series/movies
@@firstcityviews it's a MUST!! I'm patiently waiting for season 2. 😁
I cry every time watching this movie. Never fails.
It's intense. It only works because they set up the characters so well, I think a lot of filmmakers would have botched it.
I often watch this film...and often also see the reactions of people who see this video, and almost all of the reactors must cry at the end of the story, this film manages to make the atmosphere more real 💜
They did such a good job of setting up the characters, you can't help but feel for them.
The husband with the pregnant wife isn’t a gigachad! He’s a real MVP! Respect- u guys are the only reactors to say negative things about this character.
Gigachad is not a negative term. I'm not sure what you think it means, but it definitely isn't a pejorative in the context I used it. It just means a muscular man. Sorry for the confusion.
That old lady really is in her 50s her actress is just drop dead gorgeous so it looks like they got a young person to play an old lady.
Uh-oh, a couple is boarding the "Train to Busan." When "Parasite" was in the theaters, this movie was a CZcams recommendation. I HATE Zombie movies, but I was hooked when The Deer got back up. The emotional roller coaster ride through Fear, Dread, Anger and Sorrow left me drained. Kudos to the writer(s), director(s), actors and especially the stunt performers for creating a modern Classic.
Absolutely some of the most terrifying zombies ever on screen, acting was also top notch.
This movie is great like the Exorcist (greatest horror film of all time in my opinion); not for the horror or scary stuff but that it takes a back seat to what most people find important- the mother’s love for her daughter in the Exorcist and the great character arc of the father in this Train to Busan where we get see the father’s ultimate realization of his love for his daughter and she ultimately realizing it.😢
100% agree, it would have been an awesome movie if it was just all the fun zombie stuff but what really puts it over the top is the strong emotional scenes and excellent character development.
I can't get through that scene...even if there's no sound, but only picture, or only picture and no sound, without ugly crying. Every time. It never fails. You guys held it together way better than I do, and I don't have kids!
It's heart breaking, when I watched it the first time alone I was a blubbering mess.
Even through reaction videos, I'm still bawling my eyes out. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
One of the biggest emotional gut punches in cinema.
8:43 'be so good' is not exactly what the dad said, he said 'putting others' needs before yours' there which kind of makes sense in a situation like this (not to defend the dad's selfish ways in general), translators sometimes take the liberty to paraphrase but these subtle differences do make a difference...there's quite a few more mistranslations in the movie, they should do quality control on these things!
Yup
Never ceases to make me sob 🫠
I was home alone when the wife and kids were out of town when I decided to check this out, I had no idea what I was in for, cried like a baby.
Seeing these couple react to this movie made me cry as well hahahah
22:47 that's a hard hitter. 😢
Kelly and the kids were out of town when I saw this for the first time, I wasn't ready for how heavy it is.
Great reaction I was crying a lot 😂
Hope your guys reaction Korean movie more
Thank you
Thank you! Any suggestions on movies to watch?

Miracle in Cell No. 7
Extreme Job
A Taxi Driver (about true story)
Parasite
The Witness

@@jjkking2010 Thank you!
Legit!
Train to Busan is THAT movie!
Might I suggest Extreme Job? Cleverly written K' comedy/ action flick involving detectives working undercover.. in a chicken restaurant. Would be interested in your reaction to this one. d=)
Thanks for your suggestion! A few other people have also requested that one, we'll look into it.
잘 보고 갑니다. 많은 한국 작품 reaction 부탁 드려요. ~~~ (무빙이나 도깨비, 아저씨를 추천 드려요)
Now you need to watch All Of Us Are Dead, which isn't a sequel but is very similar and makes references to this movie.
Looks awesome! Definitely seems like it has a similar vibe.
There is a train to busan 2 but nowhere near as good
@@kamrynnix8922 Yeah, I've heard the sequel is garbage.
저 곳에서 죽는것이 슬픈것이 아니라 더 이상 내 사랑하는 딸을 못본다는것이 제일 슬픔
thx for watching "train to busan" i also so fun your reactions. see you again. already subscribe.
i loved your reaction so much. since you are new to the korean movies and tv shows i highly suggest to watch squid game and the glory or my name (series)
also forgotten and parasite for movies . they are so so good and the plots are so original and well written korean cinema is so underrated their movies are so so good. thank you for ur reaction ❤
Thank you so much for the kind words and suggestions! Squid Game is definitely on the list, heard nothing but good things about it.
(Dad gets bitten)
Me: No!!!
(My eyes start to water)
(Daughter begs dad not to leave)
Me: 😢
(Dad goes outside to the rail thing or whatever that’s called)
Me: 😰
(Shows flashback when the daughter was born)
Me: Oh Come on!!! I’m trying so hard not to cry right now!!!
(Gives one last smile before falling to his death and sees daughter crying through the window)
Me: That’s it I’m done!!! 😭😭😭
I also bawled my eyes out at that part too Aw man if this was a “Try not to cry” challenge, I definitely failed.
You folk's review are the 1st time ever mentioning/credit about antagonist's acting, business suited man, among other review. I hated him so much but at the end, when he said he just wanted to go see his mom before he turns, WOW...... I kind of felt his ego when/if apocalypse ever happens, we perhaps all can/will have survival instinct like him, who knows. I've watched this movie at the theater and i never guessed that i can sob like little girl watching zombie moive when protagonist jumped from train to sacrifice himself, especially when he was feeling little newborn's toe. Oh my, though i was not too embarrassed because whole theater sounded like everybody sobbing, lol
I feel like actors portraying bad guys rarely get the same appreciation as the heroes. This guy was one of the best. And you are right about not knowing how we'd react in an apocalypse scenario. I always think about Upham from Saving Private Ryan, people get so angry at him but I bet at least 50% of us would do the same thing.
Hi this was my very first video that I’ve seen on your CZcams channel so hi it’s nice to meet you. 😊👋
Nice to meet you! Thank for taking the time to watch our stuff.
아내분 너무 사랑스러우세요❤
매우 감사합니다!
Yio that child actor! I wonder what they said to her for her performance? like imagine no desert for tonight but make it for a year XD
As I understand, she became genuinely attached to both the actor and the character of her character’s father as filming went on, and they didn’t tell her that his character would die in the end, as she had thought and was really hoping he would survive
So they told her the truth before filming that ending, so that her reaction was actually genuine based off how upset she really felt
I recommend a movie review.
It's a Korean movie.
헬로우 고스트 (Hello Ghost) , 2010
Best zombie movie EVER!!!
In my top 3 for sure, I think I like Shaun of the Dead better but this definitely has better zombies.
잘봤어요😂
By far the best zombie movie
Absolutely! I still think Shawn of the Dead might be my favorite but it's obviously not the same kind of movie. As far as a serious zombie movie that makes you actually care about the characters this one is the best.
@firstcityviews not sure if you know this that several of the zombies were a special breakdance group that do a bonebreaking style that's how they could move like they did
That totally makes sense! I think I may have even said something in the reaction but I can't remember if I cut it out.
@firstcityviews I think u said something about it but they are different from regular breakdancers because the of dancing they do and as for the one buff guy that was fighting he's supposed to be a trainer for mma fighters
Best emotional movie 😥😥
100%

The actor that played the heel almost didn't take the part because he said the character was such a terrible person.
I'm so glad he did because he was excellent. I'm sure he is super nice in real life lol.

@6:38 "looks like they poop just like us..." LoL...maybe we are not so different after all! 🫂
Hahaha, I was waiting for someone to notice that.
Very nice reaction to Train to Busan, By the way are you not reacting to movies anymore?
We'll hopefully have some new ones up soon!
@@firstcityviews Cool that is great to hear thank you :-)
Night of the Living Dead cast the first black man in a lead role.
He wasn't meant to have that part but everyone including the actor who was to play the lead said he was prefect for it.
I saw a great documentary where they talked about that. George Romero didn't even think about it at the time but then it blew up into this huge political statement.
K-drama 나의 아저씨 추천드립니다
감사합니다. 확인하겠습니다!
You should check out the first movie in the series Seoul Station
I love your reaction☺
Thank you! It's a fantastic movie, totally blew us away!
Let 's see korean cosmic horror movie 'the wailing'
to much skipping bad reaction
It's "too" genius.
