Do you have instagram ?
Also can you tell us which specific border crossings are the key border crossings that hand out TN visas (as you mentioned in the video)? I was gonna go to the 'One Rainbow Bridge, Niagara Falls, New York' location -- is this a good one to go to for a Canadian RN looking to get her TN visa too?
hey girl, I'm looking to travel nurse too, I have pretty much all of my documents ready except for the "TN visa" which I thought was a travel nurse visa -- which I have -- but apparently TN visa stands for Trade NAFTA visa :( May I ask, how do u apply for a trade NAFTA visa? I didn't know we had to have a Trade NAFTA *along with * a travel nurse visa
Is canadian citizenship mandatory, and how much canadian experience is needed for this process ?
Was going to sub but this woman comes across as miserable and I just don't need that vibe in my life.
Thanks Akeela <3
Hey girl! What agency did you have that sponsors Canadian nurses to greencard in the US? I’m looking to move in Indiana as well. I appreciate if you can share. Thanks❤
This is so encouraging and empowering. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and life lesson experiences.
Thank you for sharing your heart with us. Keeping you and your husband in my prayers. ❤ Everything will happen for you at the right time
Hi ThatNursingStudent, how are you? You videos are very informative, we would like to collaborate with you on our upcoming projects. Do let me know how we can reach you
Hi can i please get some more info on the agency you used? I'm looking to make the move as well, but some of the offers I've seen are basically new grad pay rates, which is not so appealing. Thank you!
If we get USA licence then CNO will cancel our Canadian rn licenc or we can still save it ??
Hi!! I recently got accepted to an accelerated nursing program. I am wondering what kind of laptop did you use for your full program? Also, did you use an iPad for taking notes? Thank you!
Do you need to have a job offer in the US in order to get the TN visa at the border? There are several US hospitals that wont hire Canadians until you have your TN visa AND state license
Which Agencies do you recommend for new grad nurses wanting to move to the US?
Why didn't you go with a nursing agency that provides EB3 visa? Like Medpro or health carousel, for example
What's your agency? Really hard to get a job here in Alberta without experience and I'm considering to go to the US
Hello, just want to ask if how many days or months of orientation did they gave you ? Im also planning to transfer there in us from Canada .What's the best agency to go to help me put to go there? Thank you so much and more power to you! Take care!
Good luck to you :)
Hi, I recently heard from a RPN who works in Ontario got her Eligibility from the New York state board to write NCLEX- RN, she doesn't have a nursing degree from Canada or from Back home. Do you think this information could be true? Does the New York licensing board allow Diploma holders to write NCLEX RN? Please share if you know anything about this. Thank you.
Pls reply on this
Good to hear you are doing well : ) You provide great info for Canadian nurses wanting to move to the US
Thank you!!☺️
Good for you girl for being so bold and brave. You took a leap of faith and God has so much in store for you. You are the light. With experience and time you will know what to do next. It will just come to you. Jesus loves you Sis. God bless you.
Thank you, what a kind message 🥲💕
STAY BLESSED Akeela and Imran . ALL THE BEST in your married life 💞💞😘🤗
Hi there, I also want to move to Indiana. I tried to contact Indiana board of nursing but it shows it is temporarily closed. Can you please share your agent information who helped you to complete the process please. Thank you
Hi I don’t remember the agent information but I believe there should be a number you can call from the website! I think I just called that number to get in touch
I called on the number but its not working. Anyone you know who can help? Please
@@tavsvloglife9225 in that case I would email pla2@pla.IN.gov
you are truely a geniuen person hope life brings good things for you in life
WHat a great underrated video Its worth watching every single second of it for any Canadians who are planning to apply for TN very informative.
Hi, are you able to apply and get an SSN # on the same day you apply for your TN? I know the card comes in the mail later. Some blogs say to wait 10 days before applying to give time for the I94 to update. Thanks in advance!
Hi dear, Are you able to get your license. Can you please help me with the steps I need to do please. Ty
I applied the same day, it made sense because the office was right there, had no issues with the i94!
canadian rn but with indian degree can also apply??👀
I believe if you’re a Canadian citizen you can use this visa as long as your Indian degree meets the requirements (you pass nclex)
I'm experiencing the same problem!! I'm all ready to apply, but cannot get the license without the SSN!.. Drives me nuts.
Sorry to hear!! Hopefully won’t be too long for you 🥲
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and life experiences. hope you have recovered well now. Good luck.
As a Canadian RN can I move to USA directly on Green Card in your opinion?
If you have a green card you can work and live in the USA no need for a visa!
Anything for LPN's at all.
Hey! Thanks for sharing :) What kind of visa did you apply for? There is green card, H1B, H1C, and TN!
Hope you get through the hard times . I juat happened to watch your TN visa video today and the second one was about the hard stuff going on. God bless you
Thank you!!😊
Thank you so much for the comprehensive video!! I have a few questions that I was hoping you could help me with. 1) I am wondering if I need an official license verification or if I can just print out my QuickConfirm report? 2) Did you need to provide a high school transcript in addition to the university transcript? Or is a university transcript adequate? 3) If you had an employer in Canada, do you know if the old employer needs to provide a proof of employment letter? 4) I have my CGFNS certificate. Do I still need to provide proof that I passed the NCLEX? If so, how do I prove that? Thank you once again!! :)
Hi thanks for the watch! 1) I brought my version of the quick form which was a print off page of my nursing board message that stated I passed and a screenshot of my registration number 2) yes both high school and uni
3) not sure if this is relevant, if you are moving to the usa to work then your old employer is not relevant you will need the letter from your job in the USA that you intend to work for though 4) bring all documents on top of the CGFNS, print out from your nursing board message center works for nclex
Great video ❤ & new subbie here 👋
Thank you!!❤️
Hi! Im currently waiting on my visascreen to be complete to go work in michigan, im curious what border crossing you went to in michigan for your TN as im heading that way as well!
I believe it was ambassador bridge!
Very true… money is important but not the most important. The most important is what we do with the money we make. Thank you for your videos ❤️
how was working at CAMH? did you like it, was it hard

Thank you so much for your kind words!!🥰
May I ask why didn't you stay in Canada to work? Is it because it's better being a nurse in the US than Canada?
Not necessarily, there are pros and cons mainly due to cost of living in Canada and travel pay!
@@thatnursingstudent ok thanks
Hello 🙂 I'm going to take a postgraduate program, and I'm interested in being a travel nurse. Can you please explain to me the process on how to become a travel nurse? Thank you 🥰
So sorry about your loss; hope your strength during this time also inspire others in similar position to speak with someone whether publicly as you have here or privately rather than bottle it up
Wow Akeela thank you so much for sharing. I can’t imagine how difficult that was for you to go through. I’m sure this made a lot of people feel less alone and encouraged me in my own way. I look forward to the day when you share the good new of everything working out for the better!
Thank you Seija! We all have our ups and downs and what gets me through mine is hearing others share so I hope I can do the same ❤
So sorry dear.. you just made it clear to me that Canada is better for me.
It’s a big commitment, definitely pros and cons to both sides but you have to weigh your options to see which works better for you!
Virtual hugs.
