Agreed, though there were a few times where Sesta would get knocked out and Melody (or Suzette) was left to finish the boss off. I'm happy they are able to do both roles!

Akira was one of my first animes, along with Vampire Hunter D and Fist of the North Star! And yeah, I realized I misprounced Myunfa the whole time...for whatever reason I was visualizing Myfuna and saying that instead. Of the three Octopath units, I've used Partitio the most. I like trying to use free, accessible characters when I do my "mid-game" teams, and he can perform basic tanking duties. I really haven't used Cyrus or Tithi much, but I do like how Cyrus can freely switch between three elements. I figure a Cyrus and Necoco AS (or similar) combo could be fun to cheese some encounters. If I did a character review, I might begin with Partitio first due to familiarity, but I can certainly try. I was reviewing the request list from my video and a few people want more free characters done, along with common ones like Prai (whose name I also misprounced for years until I heard Thille say it). I like the "do they need SA" idea. My busiest time of year is coming up; this fall I tend to work 80+ hours a week so maybe I can try doing something like that for my next New Year's resolution. The other flip side is that I don't have all the SA characters, so a lot of my commentary would likely be based on guesswork and what others say here and on reddit, so I might have to stick with who I have to start with. It's a great idea, and one I think could be fun, so who knows, I might play around with it a bit this summer. Or I incorporate an SA section in my character development videos. If you watch my Alma AS video, towards the end I focused a portion to her stellar skill whereas in my other videos, I blended their skills in. Maybe I just need to single out that skill more like how I did with Alma?

@@casualcronolv99 you can use pwr 40 badge. I personally would not want my speed being halved. the difference between 40 and 50 isnt a lot.

@@leminhtrummm But then I lose the 2000hp cushion on an unknown final boss fight. It would be nice to be able to repeat chapter boss fights to optimize teams more.

since you already used yipha as on your team, and if you put the “faith” on sesta, using a skill named ath docais helps sesta get a shield equal to her max HP and also boosts your party defenses significantly.

It's a bit of a pain to level up Guilty Hades. The recommended order is to follow the list in the Kormeer Workshop, which I linked for ya below. You might have access to a few more depending on how far along you are. For growth cores, most drop from other megalomorphs, but you can find some via salvaging, chests, and merchants. I'd focus only on a few pieces of equipment instead of trying to level up everything. Oh wow, they promote null characters (Benedict saga, Xianhua) and immediately make them worthless, huh. I also noticed that whatever resists came along were not really an issue for Sesta, so I never felt the need to break out Alter Shion. Good to know that the beasts (those are the four requirements you refer to?) seem doable for generic parties. I don't like to see content come out that requires really specific compositions, like Astra Archive challenges. Guess we'll see what else they throw at us between now and part 4! Thanks for the insight!

@@casualcronolv99 yep, I meant the 4 beasts that require having the magic stuff to reach them, I think they all have an aura that absorbs null. The white slime I mentioned is one of the challenges in the tournament, but actually I think I got the gist of it and beat it: - one needs 3 slimes of the same color to end the fight - fight ends after a final attack at EOT by those slimes - this attack should hit hard but be defensible EXCEPT if you line up white slimes and not colored ones - the "Whiteout" final attack seems to bypass hold ground/guard/iphi's blood contract and do 99999 damage no matter what. So the actual requirement should be to line up 3 slimes of same color that are NOT white - seems like it keeps spawnning multicolor slimes until you take a life point out of the main white slime (back row). Final attack of the red slimes didn't do that much damage and I won that fight when I got 3 lined up - seems to spawn (only?) white slimes after taking a life point of the main slime

Nah, I'm enjoying the game. There's only one mobile game I ever played that I quit before an End of Service. I did not care for DFFOO and quit it after a few months. Everything else I still play, or the game ended (FFRK, others). I don't think I'll quit AE until the servers shut down, unless they do something really, really drastic to ruin it for me. Regarding new content creators taking over...the game is 5 years old. I don't know if there's a huge demand for content at this point. I'll continue my walkthroughs and character developments though; I find them fun! Hopefully people are finding them helpful too!

@@casualcronolv99 same for me. I’ll keep doing pull videos and manifest fights with the occasional superboss if i find it easy enough. I did play one game to end of service and that was Priconnect Global. Still miss that game…..

Haha, I'm not going anywhere! To me, part of the challenge is trying to win given the cards I'm dealt with. AE characters are my cards, and I know I'm never going to have a completed deck, so it's a weird perspective but it works for me. It's part of the fun...creating winning teams that aren't used everywhere. It's one reason I love Seven7AE's channel. And if there's a superboss whose mechanics I find really annoying, I feel no pressure fighting it. There are some challenges that just aren't worth it, even with a full deck!

That's a great team! I've heard that Toova ES works really well with that group, though she's not a staff user. If you need a staff user, potential strong characters could be: Dunarith Alter (if you need tanking), Myfuna AC, Shion Alter, or even Pom AS.

Very true. Melody AS and Suzette SA are both great support; they can both set pain and both can provide unlimited awakened wind zones. Congrats on pulling her; she has probably helped me the most out of all characters in the game to date.

The only tips i have are try to keep the skills you use in the same columns so they are easy to press. Make it easy on yourself so you aren’t running around trying to search for each skill you need to use. Spam a certain slot with your AF moves, and then but your buffs in other slots. I wish you luck! If you have other questions feel free to ask!

I usually put the damaging skills on slot 1. Buffs go on slot 2, then 3. That way, during AF, I can do a round of slot 2 and 3 if needed, then focus on spamming slot 1, which is way easier than having to worry about where to click for each character

What the others said. I tend to set the spammable damaging skill on the same position for all characters (for me, slot 1. I see a lot of others use slot 3.). I tend to put buffs on slot 2, and specialized skills (like pain/poison) on the third slot. When I hit AF, I usually hit all 2's, followed by spamming all 1's, unless one character needs to use a different skill. You'll see me verbally (and mentally) prepare for the first two rounds of the AF bar in my videos...I usually mutter something about hitting all 2's, maybe a 3, then spam all 1's. It's a bit annoying but with practice it gets a bit easier. Good luck!

I use it at 35:12. I use pre-chapter 84 as "mid-game" gearing, and then use gear available afterwards as "end-game" gearing. In most of my videos, I try to showcase what a team can accomplish with mid-game gear, and then provide a more advanced team for end-game situations. So I used the Void Sword for the mid-level superbosses, and the Elpis sword for an end-game boss.

Lately I've been going through the main cast and getting every free character to 30 light/shadow, just in case they get a surprise SA like Galliard and Helena did. Gariyu has 28 shadow and I was using him while finishing up collecting grasta in AGAD, but I bought out everything so I moved on to Underworld. Altena's up to 38, and I haven't bought out UAD yet, so I guess she's my shadow battery for now. Feinne, Cyrus, Amy, Riica, Guildna, and the other main cast members all have 30+ points though, so if they get any SAs, I'm ready!

Apparently there was a debate about it back when she first came out. I was unaware of the discussions.

@@casualcronolv99 I see, when it says magic attack it means only magic attack, when it says, for example, wind magic attack it men’s elemental magic attack.

@@mastershen5058 Yep, and if it says wind, fire, etc that means it's a "type" attack, and "type-attack" bonuses help boost it. Which applies to 99% of the characters. In Xianhua's case (and Benedict), it's not a type attack, and thus things like KMS grasta don't help at all.
