I didn’t drive the fl5 type r but I drove the fk8 and the clutch feeling in the new Integra type S is softer than the fk8 one . I would assume it’s not a huge difference in clutch feeling between the fl5 type r and integra type s

Very well I highly recommend thermal coating it

Not if you have the S6 fully upgraded with the JHM suite of parts, tuning, etc. Stock for stock, I do agree the E55 is better though.

@@jtherealtor Doesn't matter how much money you dump into it, it won't touch a stock E55 AMG. And I am not even talking about the speed and the power. I am talking about everything else. The E55 is better in quality, features, reliability, gas mileage, handling balance, ride quality, etc, etc, every important metric the E55 wins. Down to the buttons and the materials inside the car, everything is better in the E55. Here are a couple of examples: The heated seats in the E55 are "smart". You turn them on to the highest setting and they gradually reduce their heat as needed. In the S6 they just stay on to whatever you set them and you have to manually turn them up or down. In the E55 the rear heated seats turn off every time you turn off the car so when you turn the car on, the heated function is off. In the S6, if a rear passenger forgets to turn off the heated seat when they exit the vehicle, it will stay on forever, winter, summer, doesn't matter, until someone goes back there and manually turns it off. The E55 has 4 way climate control, the S6 only 2 way. The E55 has a button which lets you close all 4 windows and the sunroof immediately, and then when you press that button again, it returns the windows and sunroof to that previous position, the S6 has no such function. The E55 has massaging seats, the S6 does not. The E55 has 3 lights inside the trunk making it nice and bright in dark places, the S6 has only 1 shitty light. And on and on.

I didn’t like it because of that fact and you having to be at a certain rpm for it to work every time . Too much work versus a actually auto rev match system . I just learned how to rev match downshift with out that feature

I agree with buying them new because like any new car you’ll have to watch for markups but I will disagree on what you’re comparing the actual car to. The car is in a category of its own . Keep it purely what the car is and compare it to a car like it or close to it brand new . You can’t compare a brand new integra to a corvette , 911 or Supra they cost more than this car ,makes more power and they’re all RWD . This car is the only “luxury “ in-line 4 turbo, Front Wheel Drive , four door hatchback with a manual transmission brand new you can get . If your counting a 2023 Volkswagen Jetta GLI but that’s way less horsepower and now a luxury car brand . Brand new to brand new the integra type s and type r are best in their class . Obviously anyone can get a older corvette , M4/M3 , Audi or Mercedes that has way more power and better luxury amenities than this car but those cars are getting to be 10 years old soon . appreciate you sharing you’re opinion and commenting and I hope we both learn from each perspectives through this discussion.

@@t-mogul when I was talking about Porsches and Corvettes yes I meant older ones not new and I hear you on not having much to choose from if you need a manual 4 door. I’m just saying the dealers are asking to much for Hondas. Love the cars, type r and s 100% would buy one if I had to get a new car, 4doors, and manual but at the end of the day, that would leave a bad taste in my mouth for spending 60k on it. But Hey, so people would say it wouldn’t be smart to spend 60k on a 25yr old rhd car either. Wasn’t trying to knock your or belittle you or anything like that. Obviously I like the car or I wouldn’t be here, right lmao? I’m mostly ranting about Honda and Acura dropping the ball because of the price.

@@t-mogul You are spot on. It is so irritating when they compare this car to RWD and automatic transmission. They want to compare something that's not comparable. There is no FWD car faster than this. Type-R is basically the same car with minor tweaks here and there.
