    Both my wife and I just upgraded. My wife got the 2023 Passport Elite and I bought the 2023 TLX Types S. The Integra Type S was an option but I like the TLX better with more luxury comforts. Nice Integra tho. Enjoy it.

      I love the TLX type S , those cars are sharp. Definitely makes sense why you chose the TLX over the Integra . Enjoy that car for me too sir 😭

    Hey, just curious…can you elaborate on what you didn’t like about the clutch?
    As a 2020 Civic Si owner, I’d say my clutch is very light. By comparison, the ITS’ clutch had less travel and was a little heavier-I did like it overall. TBH, I drove the demo car nicely (even compared to your test drive), so I don’t have the full picture.
    Thanks, and nice video.

      Hey thanks for your comment , the clutch feeling was like there wasn’t any pressure or resistance when pressing it . It was really soft engaging it in all its gears and I barely could feel where it’s catching in the gears which confused me at first but I steadily grasped the nature of it throughout the drive . I liked the nature of it in terms of daily driving and it’s nature would really help in stop in go traffic because it doesn’t feel like a work out and barely feels like you’re trying to push in a clutch .
      Compared to what you’re telling me about you’re 2020 civic si would you say it’s lighter and softer than the integra type s ? Is it the biting point higher or lower than the ITS’ clutch ? Do you think the ITS would be better in stop in go traffic ?

    • @cabates0114
      @cabates0114 Před rokem

      With the 2020 Si’s clutch, I occasionally miss the engagement point…even after owning it for three years. I think that’s because the engagement point is high along with the clutch’s lightness. Thus, I occasionally get a shift with a rough re-engagement because I’m expecting to be in gear. The rev-hang probably doesn’t help either.
      It doesn’t happen that often, and I do enjoy shifting >95% of the time. I always find the gear I need, throws are solid in length and feel, and so on. The Si is good in stop-and-go traffic, too.
      When I test drove the ITS, I was so enamored with everything else, I didn’t even pay attention to shifting. However, I weirdly found that as a plus because I never missed a shift or had a rough time with the clutch engagement. After two cautious takeoffs from a light or stop sign, I drove it like I’ve owned it for years. No issues with the clutch from there.

      Interesting I’ve never driven a 2020 civic SI so to hear that it’s pretty much the same characteristics as a integrity type S to a degree. That’s pretty good to know. Definitely need to test drive one in the future just to experience it.
      I agree with the statement about the Integra type as where there’s no issues in shifting to find the engaging points . Definitely after a few slow take offs from a stop in ITS to get the feel of it .It was easy to to go through the gears and felt really solid .

    Acura dealer give me the key’s to test drive 19 NSX before Covid pandemic and car prices are normal. I got a good deal on it and enjoy for 2 years, best car ever owned.

      I didn’t drive the fl5 type r but I drove the fk8 and the clutch feeling in the new Integra type S is softer than the fk8 one . I would assume it’s not a huge difference in clutch feeling between the fl5 type r and integra type s

    @4:26 She is super WRONG. lol.. . Realistically, the IT-S is slower than the TLX-S. However, the ITS probably FEELS faster since is lighter. The TLX is too heavy even the Type S. That's why when you watch all these race videos with the TLX Type S, it always looses due to its weight. By the way Sports Plus is where you hear the snap, crackles and pop on the exhaust.

    Is it worth it, no not really considering what you can get. Porsche 911, Corvette or a rhd Supra. These dealerships and their mark ups for Hondas is insane. My first car with a DC5 and the main point for cars like that was they were supposed to be cheaper than the competition and still capablish? What’s the point now, it’s not as luxurious as the TL or MDX, it’s not a coupe or all-wheel-drive I don’t get it. I do still love them, but I would never buy one new

    • @t-mogul
      @t-mogul  Před rokem +2

      I agree with buying them new because like any new car you’ll have to watch for markups but I will disagree on what you’re comparing the actual car to. The car is in a category of its own . Keep it purely what the car is and compare it to a car like it or close to it brand new . You can’t compare a brand new integra to a corvette , 911 or Supra they cost more than this car ,makes more power and they’re all RWD . This car is the only “luxury “ in-line 4 turbo, Front Wheel Drive , four door hatchback with a manual transmission brand new you can get . If your counting a 2023 Volkswagen Jetta GLI but that’s way less horsepower and now a luxury car brand . Brand new to brand new the integra type s and type r are best in their class . Obviously anyone can get a older corvette , M4/M3 , Audi or Mercedes that has way more power and better luxury amenities than this car but those cars are getting to be 10 years old soon . appreciate you sharing you’re opinion and commenting and I hope we both learn from each perspectives through this discussion.

      @@t-mogul when I was talking about Porsches and Corvettes yes I meant older ones not new and I hear you on not having much to choose from if you need a manual 4 door. I’m just saying the dealers are asking to much for Hondas. Love the cars, type r and s 100% would buy one if I had to get a new car, 4doors, and manual but at the end of the day, that would leave a bad taste in my mouth for spending 60k on it. But Hey, so people would say it wouldn’t be smart to spend 60k on a 25yr old rhd car either. Wasn’t trying to knock your or belittle you or anything like that. Obviously I like the car or I wouldn’t be here, right lmao? I’m mostly ranting about Honda and Acura dropping the ball because of the price.

      @@t-mogul You are spot on. It is so irritating when they compare this car to RWD and automatic transmission. They want to compare something that's not comparable. There is no FWD car faster than this. Type-R is basically the same car with minor tweaks here and there.
