After nearly 20 F**KING YEARS,METROID DREAD IS HERE,AND ITS ACUALLY GOOD!

I remember the first time I encountered the SA-X I just held my breath, waiting for those cold footsteps to pass by so I could move again. Towards the middle of the game where some of the SA-X encounters are longer, particularly the one where it power bombs an area and inadvertently lets you pass through that area, you just have to hide where the power bomb didn't reach and wait it out. Each cold footstep after agonizing footstep, you know it doesn't know you're there and won't turn around but you're afraid it might. Then the areas later in the game where it guards small sections you need to pass through, I did the same thing I always did, I waited for it to pass by patiently... but it turned around, it wouldn't go away. It just stayed in that area and I was forced to run for my life, stunning it occasionally with an ice missile just to slow it down.

I like the dread's animation more than any other 2d games. It just feels so clean..
And all the animators are Latin 😊
This is why i want prime on switch now its the best prime game this far
I have to commend Minecraft for how distinct & memorable its TNT explosion looks while staying well within the game's style

Squinting creates the illusion of it being a lot more detailed and less pixelated than it truly is.
That's why playing retro games on proper hardware (CRT TV screens) is beneficial for the visuals looking better.
OH MY GOD THIS IS MARVELOUS! Is it just me or does the beauty of what people can do just make you feel like crying. This game is the best i have played in my entire life. Its only online i find a lot of people appreciative of this. People in my part of the world really don't value the beauty in art.

7:09 man this is such a cool little detail and the reason I love Metroid Prime as a whole. when an Ing tackles you it doesn't do anythin except a little bit of damage, but just the warning of a failed possession attempt is enough to re-emphasize how hostile Aether is compared to Tallon IV. It does nothing gameplay wise but it's immersive.

This was the only game I bought a physical copy of last gen simply because Ico/Shadow felt odd on the shelf without it and also because this is a gaming artefact of incredible importance as far as I'm concerned.

I liked how when at the end of the boss fight with Raven Beak when Samus activates the Metroid Suit, she actually dug her finger into Raven Beak’s eye when she was draining the life out of him.

How is this game rated E for everyone?
Metroid prime 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. It not only changed my gaming life forever but my actual life. It got me into science, I absolutely love it. Even now I name things Agon ___ or use the word Aether in things. I love their use of "dark" elemental energy. Everything about it is just amazing

I Love parallax effect, back in the 80 and 90 was something that just blow our minds. Last year I've tried to create something like it on my ZX Spectrum game. Since the ZX Spectrum has no hardware scroll at all I nad to create the illusion using the small acount of sprites that I can have on creen (12 16x16 max) and some scrolling letters effect (t's possible to scroll 1 line of 8x8 characters on the screen so I sacrificed the low case font to fill it with background graphics like clouds). To help the illusion I've used a "theatre stage" aestetick for the whole game. I was thinking avout mellies, one of the creators of cinema, who as an circus magician, and used siple principles to trick the eye and create the illusion. In the end I think I get a satisfatory effect for a system with no hardware scroll at all (by the way, some very smart Assembly programers, not my case, can create full screen scroll on this machine, but at the cost of having monochrome graphics). I’ve seen this video like 14 times in my recommended, watched it like 3 times now, and this is the first time I realized the “Samus” in the thumbnail, is not actually Samus, but the SA-X, and that Samus actually is in the top right…

Sounds like you need a better mic, although you're doing an excellent job with noise reduction, you can hear the heavy static whenever the noise gate is dropped while you talk.
