In this video I show you how to crochet the granny stitch used to make Taylor Swift's crochet dress!

Is the waste yarn mandatory? What is it for?
It’s not mandatory but it’s like a buffer for any mistakes and also because that is where the yarn stretches the end parts are usually looser than the middle. Hope that makes sense 😊

Ive been working hard on the blanket but ive just noticed ive somehow missed a few stitches so once side of my blanket is on a slight angle due to this. Is there a way to cover this up? Im trying hard to make sure im doing it right but i think ive just done the ending stitch wrong once or twice so its now shortened 😭

Hi when you are getting to the end and right before you slip stitch what chain are you going into are you slip-stitching into the 3 chain or the 6 chain it’s confusing to me otherwise everything is explained very well and love the tutorial
