  • In this video I show you the easiest way to crochet a super chunky ribbed baby blanket.
    My best friend is having a baby girl after a long long time of trying and I'm super excited to make her this chunky ribbed baby blanket as a baby gift for her!
    This crochet video is for total beginners and intermediate crocheters alike. I have added an easy to follow onscreen pattern that I hope gives you extra visual guidance too.

    Hi! I’d like to make this for an adult size, can I do the exact same steps but just start with a longer chain and an even number chained?

    My only problem is pulling through the yarn through those multiple loops. Im trying to donthe stitch loose enough to go through the loop effortlessly but the hook keeps getting stuck :/ im still practicing tho

    So the first row is 72 is the second row 72 as well or is it less

      The foundation chain is 72, first row is 70 sts 😊

      Hi Sandy, it really depends on how long you want your blanket... You could try chaining ten and then see if you want it bigger? It's difficult to really give you a definitive answer as I don't know what chunky yarn you are using. x
