This ribbed crochet pattern uses the chain stitch and the single crochet stitch in the third loop which creates a lovely rib effect that you can use for beanies, cardigans or even cuffs and collars, to jumpers and sweaters.

This is EXACTLY what Iâve been needing, thanks! Also, my goal rn is to make dog snoods for 2 whippets (long skinny necks) or a hat or something for Christmas giftsâŠ.Iâd absolutely LOVE it if you made a video like this making one of those using bulky/ sz 6 yarn (or maybe 5?!) cuz Iâve bought a few patterns from Etsy BUT they all use thinner yarn which I still struggle with and they keep emphasizing the importance of âgaugeâ which I donât quite understand but am assuming that if I use my preferred yarn& hook size itâll throw off the gauge entirely. I can currently make a plain rectangle shaped âgarmentâ like a trooper but I didnât quite know how to create a different looking edge which this video was perfect for but I still feel I need a start to finish tutorial to actually create the hat or dog snood. Anyways, I just thought Iâd throw the idea out there on the off chance you might be up for it. There are some other videos on here but I find you easier to follow for wtv reason.
Btw, love your wire vids also. Been trying to make a Ruby wire name for the wall & also the tiny gift tags youâve done before-Ive bought all the supplies & am trying to get it figured out without a printer to follow along with but Iâve got some easier letters down somewhat -itâs just that R that really gets me. Point is-i love your stuff. đđ§¶đ
What a lovely comment. I loved reading this đ„° I would gladly make a doggy snood for you!! I have some super bulky yarn to use âșïž
I will probably do an âRâ Christmas decoration so you can see how to do it then đ
