Reduce the mold size for the concrete. Make it with quick Crete & mesh. Make a second larger mold . Fill with epoxy. Compression rings made in the second mold😅

You should have made this out if quick Crete. It dries relatively smooth. Best of all cure time is like 30 minutes

I think you could use shnell cement, which is used for mounting electrical boxes in bathrooms.. as another idea, I have a chemical glue that is used for threaded rods in concrete. a plaster cast of the piston might be interesting too

This was great lmaoo I think the reason you guys couldnt get different notes while pressing the keys on the trumpet, is bc your mouth (embrochure- or the way your mouth is/how tight your lips are/how much air you provide) is how you get different notes along with specific keys. Thats how they can do all the notes with just 3 keys. Its the same for most brass instruments But awesome experiment, id love to see some more ideas!
