You guys need to start bringing videos like this back of you guys ripping, I thought that was the whole point of the new shop, quit pussyfooting around and tear that track up and start hitting some different venues and also cars like 168 or the yxz you need to capitalize on the content because those are the most entertaining machines!!!!! Come on boys!!!!

Same thing happened to my rig a couple months ago found all the heads of the bolts lol went and got heavier grade bolts and used a bunch of locktite 😂

This exact thing happened to me last summer on my 21 turbo. Counter sink the holes in the one way plate and put tapered bolts in it. It removes the slop on the bolts so it cant kick back.
Oddly enough, I was at crossbar in OK. Spent the weekend pull starting off the clutch 😅
I have had the one way bearings go out, nut on reduction gear come loose, but I had one come in that multiple shops could not figure out, little ether it would fire right up other wise it would just crank & crank .. low and behold the starter clutch was starting to go out! 30 min later it started up like new again! cleaning that gasket material off sucks tho!
Not sure if you switched cameras but it’s super distorted if you’re wearing ear buds, pretty much unwatchable. Ol 168. Love that car.

The idler gear and shaft is the way I've always done it and to remove the starter is a pain in the dick! The gear on the fly wheel spins freely just turn that gear with the starter and idler in. You guy are making this job a lot more complicated then it really is.
Come check out moxc this year in michigan and do a xc race challenge!!! Would be awesome!!

On my z 400 I had this problem about 5 times it happen then I got the quad couse the owner before me had it … I ended up using stronger bolts an didn’t use the Allen bolts it called for . Better grade bolts with strong lock tight an it never happen again

When it started there was some engine noise it sounds like a loose timing chain i have the same turbo s and mine was very loud until i replaced the chain tensioner, worth checking it caused metal shavings in my oil too.
Can we swap a turbo r in that thing?!? Love this machine more then anyone you guys have.
Over spec isnt always the best bet, once a bolt gets stretched its like silly puddy.
If you put a little oil on those paper gaskets they will not stick to the case/cover.

I wonder if it needs a compression release, think of a hot start on the older 4 stroke dirt bikes. Just a thought
