So when you compare to a standard 1200 gs does it feel heavier when you lean it on the spot- not moving. That s my only concern. Like how is menage in the heavy trafic compare To non adventure 1200 gs or 1290 sas for example

The Blue tooth is set to work with the rideroligy app on your phone, works great, the app also track route using the mobile gps app. , The gps mount on the handle bars I had to remove and get n and sw-motech screen mount as well as engine sump guard. This then allowed me to fit a SW-motech tank ring for tank bag. I bought the gt se 2019 version in Green for 4,500 miles on the closck for £11,500. I got the lower seat and it helps, the comfort is a little less padding. I changed the screen from the puig touring screen that came with it to the emarx sport screen, The only down side is the headlight need to be adjusted manually and not set up / linked with the rider modes. Its great two up adventure tourer fully loaded up with two up. Fitted the Mitchelin road 5 to it for all weather riding all year round.

Sorry but copper dissipates heat much better than aluminum. Copper radiators, like the original equipment, are way more expensive.

Absolutely love that 270-crank aircooled inline twin, tons of character and sounds absolutely wikked with aftermarket exhausts. Rubbish forks though coz they dive at the slightest provocation and there was some weird clunking when they do... and the tube tyres are a cause for concern in this day and age. The real dealbreaker for me is that, where I live, this bike is pricier than modern middleweights i.e. Honda CB650, Triumph Trident etc. And that's just pure bollocks.

My grandad payed £50 in 1976 for a 60s continental gt in need of some minor repairs, it was still in his garage until he died over 10 years ago, along with a BSA 650 gold flash, aswell as many other old british bikes he bought in boxes throughout the 70s and 80s, and 3 old sidecar kits that looked like tiny caravans, both bikes still run and have since been restored, my uncle has the enfield and another uncle has the bsa, its great to see these classics revived in there modern form and i cant wait to get my hands on an interceptor to turn into a scrambler soon, at that price its a great base for a project, great review, thanks.

The only thing I don’t get is everyone talking about the price like it’s amazing. There’s loads of bikes that offer this level of performance etc at this money. Most 500s are about the same price and have the same power and torque, the sv650 can be had for the same thing. The difference is just the styling. Which is fine, but we should really stop pretending this is the cheapest thing on two wheels

The wheelbase on this bike looks like it will flip over every way possible, longer swinging arm would have made it look better. 👍

So you wuld say jts a relaxed bike ..even though can do high speeds but not a fairly quick bike ..just adequate acceleration Also the firat hear is a bit short ..does the bike or any bikes performance change on a hot engine compared to a relatively colder engine ?

I'm in love with gt650, but Ice Queen 2020 was sold out. So I decide to take Interceptor Mark Tree + add any moods. I think in future, easier to rebuilt Interceptor in Cafe style bike.

sounds from the gear box during quick shifting sounds horrible. Wonder how long before the gears are worn / chipped?

Rode this last week, was really impressed. One thing that I wasn't a fan of and I know it's subjective is the wind buffeting and noise at the riding angle. Going to test the continental and see if it's less noisy. Anybody recommend a good quiet helmet whilst we're on the subject of upright riding?
