This was my favorite of the Dallas themes. This one sounded like mid-eighties, while the last one sounded early eighties with that synthesizer-electronic theme. This one had that robust percussion that reminded me of the music of it's time. It's really something how you can see the music trends of the 80s, just by listening to the Dallas themes.

Theme used for return to south fork episode. Best of all the themes used. Good choice

I am of 2 minds about this. On the one hand, Sue Ellen drinks too much. But, on the other hand, Pam IS a nag.

Linda was a lot of fun. A great actress? Not at all. But that wasn't what Dallas what about. It was a lot of fun.

When I saw this show’s intro when I was 6 on Nick @ Nite back in 1995, it freaked me out, but my parents who grew up in the 60’s said it’s not a scary show it’s a comedy and then I found it to be hilarious! I even told this story to both actresses that played Marylin and they thought it was cute and hilarious.

I love that they kept the outside of the house in gray scale. I've never been a fan of its true brown shades.

The strings at the beginning are magnificent

I absolutely loved Donna Reed's portrayal of Miss Ellie and her slightly dressier and upper class take on a beloved Dallas character. No slight to Barbara Bel Geddes for course. Given half a chance over time Donna Reed would have put her own unique stamp on Miss Ellie.

This scene seems like it was influenced by Dynasty.

I missed Barbara Belle Geddes in this season. Donna Reed as Ellie didn't fit right with me
