I'm dealing with the same thing on an 04 Sierra. Found 4 leaks so far...rear window, cab vent, weather stripping, and parking brake grommet. Your welded floor pan came out better than mine. I used 3M panel adhesive which gave a solid connection, but is visually sloppier.
My leak was the wire harness boot coming out of the cab to go to the driver side door. Same was going on for the passenger side. Both are fixed now but I haven't put the carpet back in just to be sure until I drive it in a hard rain. Hope you get all your leaks fixed
Also where can I buy the same System including the two filtration tanks and the water softening equipment
Could you please explain the rest of your system including those two tanks
Thanks for this helpful video.
Man I am having the same problem with my steering wheel in my 87 and i thought it was the steering wheel gearbox getting loose. Thank you for posting this video. Can that part just completely break while you are driving it and run you off the road?
Great video. I just picked the same 1100 up.
Good choice! It's an awesome ski
Congrats. I also have a 1994 k1500, leaking hose, removal was easy. Reinstall has been unsuccessful . My replacement hose is from a differant co. Getting fittings started is a big problem. Act as though they are cross threading. Found numerous posting with same problem. Very frustrating. 8 years ago i replaced same hose. Messy but Sucessful . Thks for reading. Dan
I really enjoyed help me decide if im going to get an old one or newer one
I'm glad it was helpful, thank you for watching
Looks sweet nice job
Thank you
Since you saved so much money getting that machine you should throw 20 bucks at a belt for your pants. Hahahaha.. good video though👍
Good idea!!
The camera lens has some type of protective layer in case that it scratches? Or do you need to buy something to protect it?
that little square thing popping out is pretty much what that is broski
what rimes is that ? nice truck btw i have a 1991 same collor and a 97 xcab t100
16" Mercury Grand Marquis wheels
Nice!
Thanks man
Outstanding video brother! Wish I would have watched yours first! Some of these videos have you removing the fan shroud, ac compressor, fan, etc!!! LMBO! You went straight to the point and made it happen! Sent a like and I subscribed!
Thank you so much for sharing .....i have two that look similar....to yours.... I will definitely try doing to see if they turn on
what brand did you do with? beck, rare parts, or duralast?
Duralast
@@allforwheelsgarage appreciate it, going to have to do mine soon 👌
Awesome! I took a chance on my '03 as well with the same issue. Had almost no coolant in it when I bought it, and was undiagnosed at the time. Thankfully they never overheated it!
The risk is worth the reward, glad it worked out for you too
Is the filter before or after, does salt run through the filter ?
The filter is before the softner
Love the forklift starter noises. Sounds just like their fork trucks.
Toyota uses the 4Y engine in their forklifts, which uses the same starter as the 22R
Ive gotten a lot of cars & trucks over the years for cheap where people just parked em and forgot about them. Didnt take much to get them fired up and movin lol
My first car was a 1974 datsun mini truck. I wish i still had it. My 2nd car was a 66 Mustang. I really, really wish i had that car back!
I love the Datsun trucks too
That 22R engine crank sound brings back memories of an 83 my dad had. That truck was a lot of fun.
Is the truck for sale?
No, just getting back to work on it
What'd you pay?
If I was you, I would hold on to that truck, don't sell it. Trust me it's a keeper.
That thing is a gem! I never even knew they made a v8 4runner.. nice job.
We have to decor the interiors of all the restaurants like this because the New trend in design of the restaurants are horrible!!
Cool
I have the same car what mileage did it break and did you ever replace it
It had been over 70k miles since I had done it so it breaking was on me. I did put a new one on and everything is fine now. I was super surprised I didn't bend any valves
Does the front of the truck necessarily need to raised off the ground or can you change it on the ground?
I guess it's not impossible to do on the ground, but it definitely helps to be raised up.
@@allforwheelsgarage Thanks for the quick response.
What is the part called? Great video.

@@allforwheelsgarage Thank you
Excellent video!!!!
Thanks for watching
SHOULD be simple. :-)
So hard to find a decent one these days
I've had it for 22 years and still love it
But battery 🔋 problem?
I haven't had any battery problems

Oh not to mention that miserable tires , Goodyear nice but , noisy and spin everywhere like a dodge hellcat
😄 yes the tires are terrible. Very noisy and have terrible wet traction. Other than that, I love the truck. The rattle in this video was an easy warranty fix, they replaced the catalytic converter. It was the cause
What kind of steering system is this? This isn't considered a rack and pinion right? Recirculating ball steering?
Recirculating ball
Does a 1996waveventure have crank case oil. . How does the crank get oil.??? 😮
It's 2 stroke...
Does waveventure have crankcase oil. How do you check it.?? 😮
It has an oil tank that supplies an oil injection pump on the front of the engine. The oil injection pump feeds oil to each cylinder at the top of the carburetor feeding the crankcase and cylinders with the fuel/oil mixture
@@allforwheelsgarage oh I get it now! The spark ⚡️ignights the gas then alls that is left is the oil. Then it runs down to crank after gas is burned. Ingenious!!
@lodwill5116 not quite, the piston as it moves up the cylinder draws in fresh air, fuel and oil through a port in the cylinder to the crankcase. This mixture then goes through a transfer port connecting the crankcase to the top of the cylinder/piston to then be ignited. Then exit through the exhaust port
Very helpful carb rebuild, thank you.
how to turn off that annoying beep sound?
Thank you for making a clear and concise video.
