    The way you turn that ratchet is so graceful and majestic. Keep up the good work. 👍

    Man I am having the same problem with my steering wheel in my 87 and i thought it was the steering wheel gearbox getting loose. Thank you for posting this video. Can that part just completely break while you are driving it and run you off the road?

      Hope it was helpful, I was honestly surprised how nice the part was from Autozone. I usually go to Advance or Napa. I know I've used alot of Moog steering parts but I was surprised by the Duralast part from Autozone.

      @@allforwheelsgarage I got the same truck, down to the color so the video was perfect for me! I went with moog and AcDelco parts to play it safe.

      @@bigmac22ify you can't go wrong with Moog but I was surprised by the quality of the Duralast. I still need to go back and do the steering stabilizer. I'll probably get that from Napa

      @@allforwheelsgarage I bought a Monroe stabilizer off Amazon for around 32 dollars, for the price I am satisfied with the quality

    What wheels do you have?
    Do they fit stock like that with stock tire size?

      Ford Crown Victoria 16x8s, they have the 5x114.3 lug pattern and nice offset

    What kind of steering system is this? This isn't considered a rack and pinion right? Recirculating ball steering?

    Does the front of the truck necessarily need to raised off the ground or can you change it on the ground?

    • @allforwheelsgarage
      @allforwheelsgarage  Před 7 měsíci +3

      I guess it's not impossible to do on the ground, but it definitely helps to be raised up.

      I'll look it up and try to add to description but honestly I just tighten the hell out of them. I probably tighten them to 80 ft. Lbs.
