I am beginning to ask question what kind of airports Repugnus has visited. That said. Wow I never once expected to see Big Powered. Always entertaining always fun.

If you do get a Power Core Combiners toy, I most recommend Heavytread the tank and Smolder the firetruck. Most fun and solid. Others like Sledge, Mudslinger, and that jet one have an unfortunate habit of crumbling over time.

1) I would have suggested replacing Sonic Bomber's orange gun with a Cheez-It. 2) Good GAWD I want a Roadfire!!! 3) Is that the li'l missile tank boy from Death Garry Gun?

(I know this is completely unrelated, but…) What if Hasbro retooled the Cyclonus/Ferak mold to become a new take on beast wars depth charge? If you take their alt mode and turn it around, it kinda looks like a Manta ray (and it’s even more swoosh-able when you’re holding the snoot of said jet mode) it would take a crazy amount of retooling tho. Any thoughts?

Gavin the reason you were underwhelmed by Legends Big Powered is because you forgot to upgrade it into Ultra Powered like in the Manga! Don’t blame Takara for your own failures

I got a roadfire and sonic bomber for a decent price at TFcon this year. No guns or micromasters, but hey I can make big powered with the KO Dai Atlas.

I found all the parts for Skystalker, finally, so now I've got them all set up in the shelf with Earthrise Skylynx and almost every micromaster I own, plus a few of the old Dollar General KO micromasters. Some third party could make a mint making new ones and new bases.

i really like the fact that bots this small get to have base modes with actual functions to them. calling them small is a bit of an overstatement, but i mean, they’re hardly leader class figures that eat your whole desk for a mildly decent pile of ramps. makes me wish the takara legends versions had done it better because i love base modes but those ones really dropped the ball on that part in particular.

It truly is magical how early TFs can change from boxy, immobile robots into boxy, immobile alternate modes, sometimes even boxy, immobile third modes and even, occasionally, boxy, immobile combined modes. Ah, the nostalgia!

I have this guy on my 'G1 hit list' of toys to get. I was lucky to get a G1 Fort Max several years ago, and just got a G1 Metroplex last month. I need more bricks for my brick shelf. And poor Toby. He totally has the energy of a father that's trying to sleep, while their 5yr old excitedly tries to show them this really cool plastic bottle cap they found in the bin.

Sonic Bomber has been a lowkey grail of mine for years but i'm so happy to have Roadfire, he is so fun. Just a beautiful beautiful toy. What I will also add, is Roadfire's "powered gimmick" actually allows him to auto morph to robot mode if you remove the front end! It's so cool ,great review :)
