Enter The Secret Aquarium 0xA 8min Strat
We enter The Secret Aquarium using 0 A presses in 8 minutes. This is TAS.
Previously, entering The Secret Aquarium took around 51 minutes (czcams.com/video/7YhJcF9v7QQ/video.html). Since then, Marbler figured out that we didn't need as much speed as previously thought for the final castle movement, now needing only ~1000 instead of ~2000. We brainstormed together where we might get this much speed from, factoring in that it must be done while still having 0 stars in order to trigger the text on the PSS door. I suggested maybe a pedro spot in VCutM, and Marbler found a spot and angle that worked, since it could launch Mario into a ledge grab, which lets us exit out with all the speed. And so then we TASed it, resulting in a final time of about 8 minutes.

I show the cool way to get to the island in RR. This makes use of a pedro spot in the tricky triangles area, which allows me to build up speed. I then jump to convert that horizontal speed to vertical speed, and fall onto the island.

TTM Seam with Floor Gaps

I found that this specific seam in TTM has floor gaps along it. This allows us to climb it 0xA, which could potentially save a few seconds in ABC stars like Scale the Mountain (czcams.com/video/8fHgvh3IKig/video.html).     Yeah, that Hazy Maze Cave one is a bit of a dilemma, isn’t it? Guess you did what you could. Where else could you get a grey metal texture in this game? Maybe you could repurpose one of the grey stone textures and use that white “Sun reflection” thing on the top left corner of the textures from those falling ceramic balls on Bomb-omb Battlefield? Pretty sure I have a solution for the Tick-Tock Clock picture, though. Take an outline of the top of a warp pipe and stretch/thin it out. Boom. Green circle.
