There's a huge empty lot right next to where I was detecting that has hosted a ton of festivals and carnivals over the years, maybe from a midway or arcade that was set up there at some point.

Yeah I'm guessing it's slightly less pure than real 925, being unverified Mexican silver, that would explain the slightly jumpy penny numbers. The unicorn horn on this ring was worn down so sharp that it actually stabbed me while I was trying to clean it haha.

Haha, yeah I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to find it, I was literally right next to an old casino that shut down in 2017. For a split second I thought I'd found a big silver half dollar like I've found on the Fraser River before.

I'm a big fan of R Dogg but we're not related. I don't know when that ring might have been lost, but I suspect it's been buried for a while. That area had a very dense and settled layer of black sand just below the surface with lots of old clad that had clearly been in the sand for a long time. Perhaps it's an older layer that was uncovered recently.

I believe his finds are honest; I saw you accused Monterey Magnet Man of the same in his latest video and I think that's very disrespectful of you. Focus on creating good content for your own channel instead of trying to undermine others.

@@ScoopyJoe That 1 time where you're by that log, you kept on digging and digging and digging, and you were just shoving your detector in the hole. Well, you could have just used the pin pointer, stop it so much faster

Sometimes I just didn't feel like crouching down haha. I was a lot heavier last year so I avoided it; I can tolerate crouching a lot more now!

@@veroniquedambrun7517 Thanks for the advice, I have pretty thick gloves that I use but I planned to keep some tube gauze over the finger as well when I went out for some extra stability. I definitely damaged some nerves though, some of my fingertip is still numb...

Thank you! Just got kicked out of an empty field adjacent to an IKEA recently, no signs indicating no trespassing, no fences or anything, literally just an empty wild sandy field because it was 'the site of a future IKEA expansion'. Sigh...

Haha, that's from the Canadian Geese, we have thousands of them that live in the city. They go where they please, and fear nothing. There was a large flock on the edge of the lake where I was, you can see them in the middle of the video when I pan around.

I've been really enjoying it so far, favorite modes are Beach Deep, All-Terrain General and All-Terrain Fast. The stabilizer and red iron numbers are a big help in the infested areas that I hunt, definitely cut way down on the amount of iron that I dig. I find it more intuitive than the Equinox in some ways; and I love the 2D Map!! Thanks for watching!

Yeah, modern clad gets absolutely wrecked by our saltwater beaches unfortunately.

Yeah, they'd been hand sifting the sand for quite a while looks like too, there was a big pile of sand next to where we were looking, haha. The last time I went to look for someone's ring, it took me two days!

Very true, I've detected right behind the path of the sand cleaning tractors that tidy up the beaches after our big summer fireworks shows and still get pulltabs and bottlecaps right at the surface, they only really grab the large shallow trash.

Yeah digging holes in sand is probably the lowest impact thing there is lol. I just went back there today actually, nobody hassled me.

As a coin roll hunter I save all my USA coins, last winter my friends parents went to Florida and I sold them $100 USD in coins for $120 Canadian, they were mostly doing me a favor though, but sometimes there's people at coin shows who will buy USD too I heard

Yeah it's a really rough spot but it sure doesn't seem like it's been detected before, the 8'' coil is fantastic!

It's drawn from real life! It came on the radio station one day when I was stuck in heavy traffic and it really helped calm the frustration.
