Every other video or article I've tried to consult about joining yarn so that I don't have to weave in my ends has made zero sense, this is the first one that actually explains it easily! Tysm <3

If I might make a suggestion to others trying to learn this…. The color of the “in between” the rows of blocks is the contrast . In other words, I’m using an ombre green color which I wanted the “blocks” to be that also has tan incorporated in it, and I wanted to put the in between contrast as a matching solid tan color. I hadnt realized I needed to start out with the Ombre first an so I had to start over! It’s probably me, I must have missed that info knowing me - (anxious to get started! ) But i want to keep someone else from starting out and ripping all out , the wrong color scheme they had in mind! A great job teaching, thanks!

I by far like this video. The pattern is simple and easy you can see what she’s doing well and she goes slow enough. To finish (at the end you should finish with an increase also known as two double crochet in same stitch.) i added 1 half double followed by one single crochet followed by one slip stitch. This way the height gets lower and the ends can be weaved in less noticeably
