Oooooooooooooook- so this comment is to criticize as I watch. 1: BRUH WHAT?! You say Dragon Ball focuses on the fights, and say it’s unjustified to put Vulma on the sidelines… EXCEPT IT IS JUSTIFIED! Goku is a fighter, Vegeta is a fighter, Cell and Buu were fighters, Gohan is kinda a fighter, etc. Bulma is NOT a fighter! When you introduce so many fighters and do so many fights, why have a non-fighter as a main character?! It’s just taking up screen time that could be spent on- say it with me now… MORE FIGHTS!! Dropping an anime because of a single character is YOUR fault. Fire Force never caught my eye, but I’ve seen plenty of anime that did that same thing. Mayo Chiki! as an example, did that a lot- but Subaru was adorable and sweet, her mistress was devilishly clever, and the other girls were all wacky. Did it feel awkward sometimes? Ye. But the story beats the events that happen. If you drop a project because of 1 small thing, don’t blame the project, blame yourself. “Fan service is giving something to the fans, servicing them.” Yah, but that doesn’t mean it’s really needed, good or bad, etc. but it CAN be over the top. Lucy and Erza got too much fan service, they were basically made for it. Characters like Momo, Stella Vermillion, Siren (if you know all these, respect), were made for fan service, and got too much for what they were given. BUT, a golden character to look at, is Raphtalia. Her fan service was a bathing suit 1 time and it wasn’t revealing at all. It wasn’t a bikini or nudity, it was a swimsuit that served its purpose and covered basically her whole torso. That was PERFECT. It gave fans the swimsuit moment but didn’t oversexualized on it, and it felt fitting for that episode taking place on a beach and finding a dragon hourglass under the ocean. Molty… oh GOD I loved her! Until her motives were thrown away. In season 1 she had the motives and mysteries for hating Naofumi, but legit all that went away starting in season 2, and she felt like she was being mean for the sake of being mean. Her reasons were never touched upon, she just kept lying to anyone who would listen to her, she stabbed everyone in the back and they STILL listened to her! I hate her now because her character got lazy, not because she did bad things that kept the story going- but her own personal story stopped at season 2. Riza Hawkeye didn’t commit any travesties… she didn’t do anything horrible. She’s helping Roy Mustang to atone for her own father unlocking the secrets of flame alchemy which she allowed Roy to learn. AS A RESULT, he burned the information off her, LITERALLY, and HE committed the travesties like killing Winry’s parents for doing their jobs. She’s a supporter who had a history with a main character, who formed ties with everyone, who grew, THAT’S what made her great. So you clearly misunderstand Riza and have no idea what it is you’re talking about when it comes to her. Glasses equal intelligent…? Not always, not at all. Shula needs glasses and she’s kinda stupid, she just has bad vision. Same goes for the main guy from Nagatoro, same goes for a character from 7 Seeds, Queen Lorapechka, etc. they wear glasses but that’s because they need them. Lorapechka is kinda stupid in the general sense, tripping over nothing and being nearly incapable of sight without her glasses. Same goes for Suika, Magna wears sun glasses or shades to look cool, there’s no other reason. You yourself put glasses wearers into a category, again that’s your own fault. Why do I get heated over this small thing? Because I’m legally blind, and glasses won’t help me at all, so I take a special hatred for this particular subject. “It’s not like I like you, ok?” I use that as a tease all the time and it’s because I don’t like girls. It’s COMPLETELY acceptable to say this and not be the “I’d die without you” character. In a few examples: Shichimiya, or Sophia Ring SP Saturn 7th loves the main protagonist but learns and accepts she’ll never have him. Miya from A Sister’s All you Need, likes Itsuki but learns she doesn’t stand a chance and accepts she can’t have him, because Nayuta Kani loves him far more than she does. YOU put characters into stereotypes and make it a problem or tool- yet again, your fault. And again, you don’t know what you’re talking about. “Women who get kidnapped are portrayed as helpless” ok, let’s see you get kidnapped, tied up, and held captive by god knows how many people with weapons, and we’ll see how easily you save yourself. In some anime yes, that is sadly how it works, HOWEVER not always. Take Spiral: Bonds of Reasoning. The main female Hyono gets kidnapped by Souske Asazuki. She gets held in a small room BUT she is completely unharmed, not bound or gagged at all, and Asazuki even brings her food and talks to her. Why? Because HE isn’t all that bad, and SHE let it happen to motivate Ayumu Narumi, which actually works- basically putting him in a life or death scenario to make him believe in himself (yes, I’m serious, Ayumu willingly straps a live bomb to his neck to prove a point). Women can be very clever, and that’s also to say not all kidnapping characters are all bad. Asazuki, bad guy, but not THAT bad. He does try to kill Ayumu but he also saves him and helps him save others. Learn before you talk, sir. And now because I’m about half done and I don’t wanna talk more here- I’m done. Learn your material first, and don’t act like you know how to do it better until you actually do.

I really disagree with his opinion on chopper and with some other opinions on the show as a whole. I love one piece wholeheartedly and for me longer arcs have never been a problem. I can’t complain about having more one piece to watch, them being long and drawn out, as he said leads to more beautiful oda moments. For me it has always built the story and characters in little ways. It’s realistic that every small character has their own story and motivations, just like all of us have our own stories. Even though they are side characters it brings them to life to give insight to their motivations. I wouldn’t care if one piece dragged on for another 20 years, more one piece is a good thing to me.

I liked it Inuyasha but there were a few characters I did not like which was Kagome and chippo and Koga Kagome snagged all through the series I'm telling you now she to sit for no reason just because she's mad about something chippo didn't really do much and Koga he did not do much either he was a full-fledged demon but yet he depended on the Jewish yards in his legs more than his own strength so basically cogo was a weak full-fledged demon to where he had a depend on the Jewel shards in his legs and Inuyasha should have married Kikyo because he was in love with her first and they seem more of a fit than him and Kagome did

One Piece is one of the worst creative endeavors in human history.

Solo leveling is one of those stories where you just turn your brain off and enjoy the ride. It also helped that the art in the manwha was hype as fuck. I've also enjoyed other power fantasy novels like Legendary Mechanic, Supreme Magus, and Sword God in a World of Magic when I don't want to think and just want to read.

It lacks the originality of the Odyssey.

As it comes apparent to see, all of Sesshomaru's weapons are tied to a lesson. The sword left by his father was to teach Sesshomaru the value of life and protecting it, the second one was to teach him to seek the strength of his own. And his final weapon becomes his own legacy made manifest as he finds his strength within, rather than seeking a lost heritage of his dead father. Sesshomaru learned to care for others, to let go of the past, and forge his own future rather than chase after his father's legacy.

You know this would've been even better if you didn't keep saying Inuyasha was a product of it's time. It was written by a woman showing natural interactions between men and women. With in that dynamic you will always have mild medium and hot. Different extremes for each sex. That has been the natural oder of things what you're witnessing now is an arbitration of that... or would you rather I call it a product of it's time!
