Ah, my favourite anime and manga series of all time
I have been thrown into the abyss myself because the glamour of this fictional world and its themes are just fascinating.
I'm kinda sadge that the manga has slow updates since the newest arc had captured my attention again with the latest chapter 😔 But the wait is worth it, really.
An abyss filled with blessings and curses, filled with mysteries and enigmatic answers, capable of conceiving life and destruction, an unrivaled darkness that can still be as warm as the morning sun

I’m so thankful you made this!! I’ve loved this anime for a few years now, but it feels like no one ever talks about it. By far one of the most slept on shows of all time
I know this may sound a little cliche, but I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world. Talking to the people, wear their clothing, experiencing the culture, eating the food, as I journey by car, bus, or cart. I want to SEE, BREATHE and LIVE in the world not just watch or read about it. I’m sure it’s a pretty common wish for some; but it is a dream of mine nonetheless.
That said, there’s always realistic obstacles for anyone when it comes to a dream as grand as this. First off; u need money and that’s something I don’t have NEAR enough of. Not to mention time; I’d have to take off work for extended period and no one can afford to do that on a whim. Plus I don’t like the thought of going to a foreign country alone. I’d want to travel with someone I love and trust; like my family or a significant other.
Everyone, no matter their age, gender or social background will always have an adventurous spirit. It’s just a matter of if they have the guts and the drive to go for it.

Definitely one of my favourite manga/anime series.
And I could not agree more. This series is just so well done, touching many subjects. Almost in layers of different depths just like the abyss itself. And its cute animation style just seems to make all the gruesomeness stand out even more, make it feel even harder to see characters so sweet and innocent suffer like they do.
I could likely write whole essays about that series and its characters, just like you I guess.
I would be glad if you considered to make more content on it. The abyss offers so much worth talking about.

This show is beautifully unique. And super twisted in a way that I never saw coming. I adore this show so much
This series is akin to watching a car crash in slow motion. It's ugly and can't end well, but the slowness of the process tricks the mind into false hope and forsibly captures your attention.
The author tangibly having some creepy fetishes (which nobody ever points out) is also a certain aspect of it.
Everyone is aware of the weird elements of the series

I reckon you could theoretically return from Layer 6 but it would just take a really long time
Bondrewd said that it’s specifically when you ascend 10Meters that you get hit
And Nanachi said that the force field flows with you
So if you had Nanachi with you and plenty of time, you probably could make it back by going up 9meters or just 5 if you want to be safe, wait for it to settle down then go up again a bit
I was not prepared for the last few episodes. People warned me about it. I'm over here like, "oh it won't be that bad." Wrong. @_@ I still think about the Mitty stuff REGULARLY. It really affected me deeply. I want more MIA, but I'm also afraid to watch more.
