Language Endangerment
A overview of language endangerment, including brief discussions on the severity of the language endangerment crisis, causes of language endangerment, and why everyone should care about the increasing disappearance of languages.
ERROR: at around the 1:00 mark, I mistakenly said, "indigenous languages, like Quechua, are no longer being passed down to children as a first language", but I should have said, "indigenous languages, like Quechua, are increasingly no longer being passed down to children as a first language". To be clear, currently Quechuan languages are passed down to children as a first language (but this is happening with decreasing frequency).

I am a little confused. Are the inflections "ed" and "s" considered morphemes or morphs ?? I am talking about the written form. You say that morpheme is abstract so all the written forms are morphs ???
