Avec l'Inde le pays qui me donne le plus envie de vomir. La médiocrité intellectuelle et l'endoctrinement de cette démocratie POPULAIRE (LOL) de Corée de l'Estheuu d'Algérie. Au lieu d'être le Qatar ils sont au niveau du Bangladesh. Ça ne m'étonnerait pas que ce trip est été financé par Taboune y mak pour essayer de se faire un peu de pub positive. Il y a des pénuries d'eau potable. Les algériens sont les PREMIERS migrants en Europe et surtout en France. La seule chose qu'ils connaissent c'est le football et leur drapeau éclaté d'ailleurs ils ont pleureur sang devant la perf marocaine a la coupe du monde tellement ils sont abrutis. Là les élections ça va être un BORDEL. ...et vous verrez ça sera la faute d'Israël et du Maroc. J'aimerais bien savoir quand est-ce ce que l'armée algérienne (soit disant la plus puissante de l'histoire de la galaxie)... Va t elle attaquer Israël ? Vu que l'Algérie est super balaise de la bouche j'aimerais savoir si a part aboyer comme des chiens errants vous servez vraiment a quelque chose? Mais oui vous avez raison c'est très beau les paysages tout ça bande de parasites 👍😏

Those 404 estate at the time very popular in Portugal, now also collectable item. These share the same engine with the only Portuguese 4x4 called a UMM, from older to newer 2.5td Peugeot engine.

We’re planning our overland trip - renewed our passports last year and the digital photos have expired. We know we need passport photos with us - do they need to be copies of ones in our passport? If so can we just take a photo of the copies and get them printed from there or can we have new photos done that don’t then match our passport ones?? Great videos - very informative, thank you
Photos taken within the last 6 months are best to take with you and they don’t need to be the same as in your passport.

How is the value of the car determined? If I purchased a 20 year old car for 1300 GBP.. is this the value that would be used?
You’ll have to check with CARS Europe who use the Carnets, but my understanding is that it’s based in current market value. Fortunately the accessories bolted to a vehicle (roof tent, winch, other mods etc) are not taken into account when they determine the value, just the base vehicle.

Why don't they use Webasto or Eber?
We had a Webasto fitted to our vehicle but never used it. If we had used it, the engine drive belts would have got cold, brittle and snapped, so much better to keep the whole engine running.

A former Rainforest Challenge winner selected the size for us. I would hope that he knew what was best for that vehicle in those conditions.

Incredible video with a great performance from the epic berlingo. I dont know how this doesn't have more views. I have had a peugot 308 for over 7 years with over 244,000 miles on the clock, very similarly to the berlingo / partner. Great engine the 1.6 is
Brilliant Videos Mac, watched all three and very useful info. One question I do have relates to temporary import of vehicles. Those countries that don't require a CDP, as I understand it most require fees for temporary importing the vehicle... be interesting to know more on this, costs I know will vary... is this on every border outside the EU or just the lesser developed countries once you're further afield? or is it just better to do the CDP for every country outside the EU?

No idea really, it's quite baffling! It was a fantastic project to plan and lead and hope that one day when Russia is at peace we can do it all over again.
Never had trouble with my MSR expedition stove! The only maintenance I do is after I use it I shake the stove vigorously so the shaker pin clears the jet for about a minute! No issue! Once a year I will take it apart and clean it. The plastic parts are robust and with new technology as strong if not better than metal!

Definitely don’t need a radiator or oil coolers there, but block heats would be useful
Much easier, simpler and cheaper (re modifications) just to keep the engine running the whole time. No electricity to power block heaters anyway.
