  • In 1952, as a publicity stunt to promote the newly launched Humber Super Snipe 4-door saloon, legendary racing driver Stirling Moss, along with 3 of his racing ‘chums’, was challenged to visit 15 European countries in less than 5 days.
Starting in Oslo and finishing in Lisbon, despite testing wintery conditions, Stirling’s team completed the 3,380 mile dash around Europe in a staggering one minute under 90 hours, capturing the imagination of both the motoring press and public.
2022 marked the 70th anniversary of this challenging feat of endurance and so to commemorate it the Max Adventure team would attempt to beat Stirling Moss, but they weren't going to use a petrol-powered car, instead swapping fossil fuels for batteries in the form of the new Kia EV6.
Could it be done? Could an electric car actually visit 15 countries in under 90 hours at an average of 901 miles per day?
