I have a Gazelle step through frame 8spd Nexus hub gear , but the blasted thing is so big, I adopt the method demonstrated to mount the bike but as I push off the wobble from the handlebars is so disconcerting, it nearly has me down on the ground, I don’t understand the propensity for the bike handlebars to wobble like that on pushing off, everything is adjusted fine, once I get going it’s fine although the steering is very different to my 25 year old cross country mountain bike

I got back to riding bicycles 2 years ago and this video made things clearer than any sales pitch on showroom floors. You still have to try different types of bikes to find what suits you best and I changed my mind quite a few times along the way. So far my favorite thing to ride is a single speed road hybrid with granny handlebars which I would have never envisioned initially.

it just doesn’t work i push off and immediately fall over; pushing off puts a rotational force on the bike; how are you avoiding that?

When I try to get on the cycle and start pedaling, the cycle leans on left side and then I fall down. I have been trying many times to get on but I can't do it. And now my parents are scolding me for not trying to learn.
