  • What is the proper seat height? Simple answer is one that makes you feel comfortable on the bike. However, here are some approaches we use when sizing people up quickly on the floor.

    And setting the saddle too height can be dangerous especially when you are riding on busy streets. You should at least be able to start and stop your bike efficiently. Having a very high saddle can cause back problems. For a year I was having a hard time figuring out why I get back pains when I ride. Then I realized I was reaching too hard on the handlebars because my saddle is too high. When I lowered it, the problem is gone.

      I fell to the ground so many times too..when an urgent break is needed, I can’t reach my feet to the ground that causes me to become unstable when stopping😵‍💫

    Isn't locking your knee dangerous?

      No, your knees will not be locked while riding. He locked his knee with his HEEL on the pedal. You actually place your foot on the pedal where your toes meet your foot. Putting your heel on it as he did makes sure that when you pedal normal your knee is bending to the proper max and min angles.
