Before you put it on the mill take a torch and heat it up red hot and let it cool down slowly .see if that helps but only. Heat up a little past the world on both sides.nomore

Just my opinion, but a quick sweep before putting stickers between boards to air dry them take the sawdust debris off hurts

After 4 of the same product, change and go through it again and figure it out. I mean what have you done? How many blade types, companys, brands?

It's breaking at the heat effected zone. Temperature at this point is to great of a difference. Preheating and or post heating should correct this.

Call manufacturer and tell them. I have ran blades very hard and only have had very few break over the years. Yep it quality control lacking at manufacturer.

Yeah, sometimes you wish you could run your ideas through the sharpener. Then there are those days you want to keep them in a dark place and tarpen her. (Hey, sometimes you have to make up words, so don't go trying to look em up in the dictionarary. OK, maybe on the previous one.) Well, no one said advice had to be sound. You know. Sounds alright to me. Ha! If an explanation can't be found just do the human thing and pretend that they forgot to include the instructions. Your probably buying Chinese blades to save money. Not annealed properly I also have to buy starret blades because others dull out immediately.

Ive not used a mill this big but having the wheels tensioned against the tooth side more than the back helps keep the blade straight and cool. Same on the metal band saw. People put the blade tensioned near the untoothed side and it slowly warps the blade.

Charcoal would have been a better choice if only grilling a small amount of food, charcoal gets hot quickly at about 10 to 15 minutes tops.

These thoughts weigh on my mind. But they come back a different kind. Like someone else had spoken them to me. In the mirror, is that me? Life can sometimes sit a little bitter.
