I have around 10 cacao tress in my small farm and all your videos are very informative. We have been making our own tableyas for 6 yrs - for home consumption and gifts to neybors and friends. Thank you for all these very useful information.❤️
Love this! Thanks for sharing. Yes continue to spread love and chocolates 😉🍫🇵🇭
Thank you. I learn a lot。
You’re welcome
Sir Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to you po.
Young grasshopper 🦗
how much yung grafted seedli gs nyo po?
Pwede po mag tanim sa mejo uphill na lugar at may mga niyog na matatayog na
We mentioned this in a different video. The answer is yes pwede mag tanim sa slope but it will be difficult pag harvest time po. Mahirapan po yung tao sa pag harvest. Medyo costly but if pipilitin mag tanim sa slope i suggest parang rice terraces style to prevent erosion and easier farm management
Thanks sir
can i order the tablea?how much po?
You can order via our website www.cacaoculture.ph

hello po,saan po pwedeng magbenta ng cacao beans?
Depending on your locality you can approach farming cooperatives, depending on your quality and volume you can also approach traders or even direct small manufacturers. Again this is based on your capacity and quality and location 😊
Thank you for your insight. can you shipout your variety to Bohol?
Murag okay na diha, ba
Where can we buy criollo cacao seedlings here in Davao?
I am not sure about criollo seedlings source in Davao
Hello idol, ilang taon bago magbunga ang cacao?
2.5 years maam but I suggest you prune muna yung mga bunga (small pods) to let the tree focus its nutrients in growing and strengthening the tree itself. 3rd year na po kayo mag harvest 😊
Hello po we are researchers student po ask lang po namin kung pede po ba mapabilis ang fermentation? Ano po kayang possible chemical yung inilalagay sa process. Hopefully po na masagot. Thank you po and God bless.
No idea if meron ganun na option but i know if there specific additives during fermentation it is to develop a different flavor profile but not necessarily to speed it up.
Please can you make a WhatsApp group for more information about cacao lecture
Thanks for your time, please here in Nigeria did your cacao it's is different from your's
I am not a cacao farmer, just an excited exotic fruit shopper… I tried a cacao pod for the first time the other day, ate some of the pulp, and saved some to try fermenting. Some of the beans that I ate the pulp off of I saved, too. I threw them in a jar with the remaining pulp-covered beans, covered them with filtered water(I figured it would act as a covering and fermentation distribution in place of the missing pulp), put a cloth over the top of the jar, and set it next to my gingerbug. I’m three days in and it is very bubbly and smells yeasty! I did not research how to do this before I did what I did. 😅 Any tips on how to proceed from here?
Hi, is that a chiller po? Where you have placed the molder with grounded cacao? Thanks in advance po for your response
Yes 😊
I tried to ferment cacao beans in empty biscuit containers and after six days, they were fermented with the odor of vinegar, that's the juice from the pulp brought by the yeast and when dried, the beans turned brownish and when I tried the roasted beans, they taste like chocolate.
Amazing. Great work
@@cacaocultureph Thank you 😊.
dude, you are going to have a wonderful year this year!
Thank you 😊 we wish you a wonderful year as well 🥰
I have been tracking cacao futures prices over the last year and they recently went from $3000 USD per Ton to $10,000 USD per ton. Do you see this price increase in your local market?

Hi I have roast my cocoa beans and also I heard pop sound. But during grinding it's looking like dark purple not brown. Is it anything wrong with process? Do you think I can still use it to make my chocolate?
Thanks for asking. the popping sound when you first heard it, you already took it out of the roaster? It may have been too early. The popping sound is an indication that the roasting process is on the way as the the skin of the bean is popping and creating thin layer of separation from the bean Typically it should be on the brown side vs purple. You can try roasting again but will have to have a more closer look at it. Once you learn to the quirks of your roaster and the beans you typically use, you will now be able to set some proper protocol for your roasting process. Hope this helps 😊
Well presented and easy to understand. Thank you so much
You’re welcome ☺️
Thank you for the information. We plan to plant cacao in La Union. I just subscribed.
