Episode Four- Christmas In July Series!! Final Episode! Potato Side Dish Edition: I love potato side dishes. And these Twice Baked Potatoes are a hit every time! Full of cheese and bacon, you can’t go wrong! Do you serve potatoes at your holiday table?! Give these a try I promise you will love them! Bake them up, take a picture and tag me! Twice Baked Potatoes
🎄Ingredients
3 baking potatoes
1 stick butter
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 heaping cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
1/4-1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic, or to taste
2 green onions
🎄Instructions
Preheat oven to 425. Prick potatoes a few times around the center where you will slice the potatoes. Bake potatoes for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. Reduce heat to 350.
Cube butter and add to a large bowl. Slice each potatoe in half lengthwise. Scoop potatoes leaving a thin layer of potato around the edge so the skin stays firm. Add potato pulp to the bowl with the butter. Give it a good mash. Then add some milk, cheese and bacon. Mash again. Add seasoning and rest of cheese and bacon and mash, making sure to reserve some for the topping. Place skins on a baking sheet and add the mashed potatoes to the skins. Top with extra bacon, cheese and onion. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes until cheese is melted and heated through.

If you get a water melon that is not very sweet, on top of those cubes add sugar or artificial sweetener on top! Not salt! It helps with those watermelons shipped in from South America in the winter!
I'll have to pass. The meat against the rind is my favorite part.
This is just to get my cubes. My boys will use spoons and scrape and eat all of that clean. :)

I always thought that the "mushy" pieces were the best pieces, with them having the most flavor. The juice drains out of the pieces on top, taking the flavor with it. But to each their own.
Yep! Everyone has their preference! The bottom ones still get all the juice. Just still keep a little more crunch than sitting in their juice. 😊

Love your voice and attitude, but why do you feed this junk to your family? I dont understand why i keep getting all these lame junkfood cooking recipes in my feed. You cant just open a can or box and combine two highly processed foods and say it is homemade. Making real dough is not that difficult, and you might enjoy the challenges. It is totally none of my business and you can live your life how you want, but watching this made me feel sad for your kid’s eating habits.
