I sold the bike 11 years ago. I have no clue.

Yes, we know there are some issues. The video is from 2012. And it's the only video on this channel not filmed by me but by a friend.

Man soll halt net unbedingt einen Fehler machen, sonst liegt man möglicherweise irgendwo 3 m unterhalb. Die Brücken sind auch nicht so ohne. Wenn ich es richtig im Kopf habe, vereinzelt leicht bergauf und in der Kurve. Grad bei der ersten Fahrt, wenn man langsamer unterwegs ist, könnte das blöd ausgehen. Früher gab's im Paganella Gebiet (Molveno) auch einen Trail, der eigentlich total einfach war, aber als schwarz markiert war. Bei dem gab's aber echte Absturzgefahr. Zwar jetzt nicht direkt neben dem Trail, aber teils ging es 2 m daneben richtig runter. Fehler sollte man da nicht machen.

With the downhill bike I always rode with an old Leatt Brace (a neck brace). And I mounted the Gopro there. This was really stable. With the enduro bike I use the regular (old) chest mount. But also a backpack. And I tightened the chest strap of the backpack very firmly such that it additionally helped to reduce the shaking. But overall the stabilization got a lot better with the Hero 7. (I don't have 8 to 10 because they don't have features which actually help when using them as action cams. And they are heavier).

@@DownhillRangers thanks bro. I will try to tight harder my chest mount, maybe could br it. And, what u mean about gopro 8 to 10 thst they dont have features to use like an action cam? I bought a hero9 last week..

Thanks. If I did not have a Hero7 I propably would also go for a newer one. But when I looked briefly in the newer cameras I did not see a feature which would improve my videos significantly. And as I remeber the newer ones are even heavier which usually increases shaking.

Selbst wenn man ein paar Meter schieben müsste, wäre es nicht schlimm. Etwas mühsam ist, dass man dann unten vom Ort Leogang wieder zurück zum Bikepark fahren muss. Wenn aber dann in der Hochsaison bzw. an den Wochenenden auch die Steinbergbahn offen hat, dann ist es nicht so weit zum Zurücktreten. (hab heuer noch nicht geschaut, wann die Steinbergbahn offen hat)

I don't know of any bikes with titanium frame of bigger manufacturer right now. I know some have experienced with it now and then. But if they would be "better" surely we would see more titanium bikes. As far as I know titanium is used in some higher end cassettes for individual cogs (usually not the whole cassette) and some replace various steel screws with titanium ones to safe the last bit of weight.

Both, Giant Reign (blue), Santa Cruz Nomad (mine).

It had quite a crack in the top tube. But a friends works at a company which manufacture carbon parts (e.g. for motor sports) he fixed it. Without telling you wouldn't notice that it had been repaired.

Did you ride the day after with the same bike?

@@DownhillRangers I think the worst part about repairing carbon frames is fixing the color after. So annoying

@@LinkinPark4Ever1996 I have not actually done it myself. A friend who repairs carbon frames can use his comapnies paint shop. Also he has a plotter for the decals etc. Probably that makes it easier.

Meanwhile I have the Hero 6 and 7. The 7 is noticeable better with Light and Shadow. I usually use Pro Tune and on sunny days I reduce the exposure. But the best thing to do: don't shoot in such conditions. Sometimes I event waited for cloudy conditions to shoot on a new trail ;)

No, just the built in electronic image stabilization. But it's now even better in the Hero 7, 8, 9

@@spookizoid7726 I do not have experience with Hero 8, 9 or 10. But the stabilization of the Hero 7 is noticeable better than that of the Hero 5.

Sorry, I was logged in with my personal account. So I had the Hero 5 and Hero 7 and especially the stabilization of the Hero 7 is much better than that of the Hero 5.

This is 5 years ago with a GoPro Hero5. Usually I use ProTune but keep the most settings to Auto. Currently with the GoPro Hero7 I have Shutter and WB on Auto. EV Comp -0.5 (dependent on how sunny or cloudy it is). ISO 100-1600 (I think I never changed that). I had issues with the WB with the Hero5 (gray was not gray but either magenta or cyan) So I rather switched to Auto. Sharpness Low. Color: GoPro.

Leogang, Austria. This track is also A World Cup racing track. But usually they have some modifications for these races.

I'm using an external microphone. For mountain biking the wind noise reduction does not work good enough. And it is almost not possible to fit some fur on the mics like it worked fine on the GoPro Hero 4

I use an Edutige microphone. I can't remember right now which one exactly, but one that is compatible with the GoPro mic adapter. I also use a small 'dead cat' on it
