Finale Ligure - Technical Trail to Noli - San Michele 2017

Ride on the steep and technical trail to Noli near Finale Ligure, Italy. Finale Ligure is a famous pre and end of season destination for gravity mountain bikers in Europe.
The first part is extremely tight. There is another access to this trail but we have always been riding this one. But maybe we will look for the alternative access next time. The middle part is fast with a few technical sections. As I did not remember them exactly I had to slow down quite a bit (last time I rode this trail was 2014). The end is extremely steep and technical. A real challenge.
Most of the footage is shot with the chest mounted GoPro Hero5 Black. Some footage with a helmet mounted GoPro Hero5 Session.

GoPro Hero5 settings:
I filmed with 1920x1440 (4:3) at 60fps with image stabilization. Thus I can choose the perfect 16:9 image in post. Finally I scaled the output to 2560x1440.
Audio:
I used an external microphone with a "dead cat" (fur) on the GoPro Hero5 Black (and external mic adapter).

Finale Ligure ist eigentlich eine Frühjahrs- und Herbst-Destination. Im Sommer ist es einfach sehr heiß. Und angeblich dann auch sehr überlaufen von italienischen Urlaubern. Selbst war ich aber immer nur im Frühjahr dort. Ansonsten: Trails recherchieren. Man kann dort selbst treten oder sich ein Shuttle mieten. Mir genügen normalerweise 1-2 Shuttle Tage für eine Woche. Shuttle sollte man vorab reservieren - vorallem wenn man eine größere Gruppe ist.
