4th of July Fireworks Show 2024
I didn’t get the best spot this year but I was out DoorDashing on my scooter and took a 20 min break to catch the show. I didn’t want to park in the crowd and get stuck in traffic. Enjoy the show!

Back To Geocaching It's been a few years since I last went geocaching so I decided to go today on my scooter. It's much easier to park a scooter and stay more stealthy. There are a lot of geocaches around town so I'll be searching for more in the future. Enjoy the video!!! Merch from Spreadshirt: shop.spreadshirt.com/the-outdoor-experience/ I play games too!!! A Little Tour Of Town On My TaoTao Scooter
I had one jump over my handlebars from a hill on one side of the road. One second later, and he would have taken me off the bike.
I’m sure that was pretty scary. Bet your speed went down after that and eyes focused more than ever lol
Thanks for the review. I look forward to watching the 2000 mile review. I've got to search Amazon for the rear rack of your scooter. I was thinking about using one of my oven racks when I get my scooter, but I'm not sure if it can handle 50 or 60 lbs of weight, it might bend. When you say the top speed is 55 mph, is that GPS verified?
I tested it with a phone app. It seemed to be 1 off. The scooter would say 40 and the app would say 39. Same at other speeds.
@@TheOutdoorExperience Thanks.
Gotta keep both eyes peeled, hey what’s your top speed on that Tank 200? Can it sustain 55mph for a long time….say 10 miles or so or is that to hard on it? I’m looking to get either a scooter or mini motorcycle, been looking at the tank or the Lifan kpv 150 or maybe the vitacci spider, I want something that can keep up with traffic, I live in the country and most of the roads are 55mph some are 45, your thoughts?
@@DeucesWildRC I haven’t taken any trips long enough yet to keep it at 55. Mostly because I’ve only gone on curvy roads so far. It does do 55 but hills will take it down a few miles. I don’t know if it’s my weight but 55 seems to be the top limit for me. I’ll have to take it out on some long straight roads to see how it handles but I’ve always been more comfortable at around 50mph. I’m not much of a fan of speed on these things lol
Good video on the rear racks and the bag. What I want to know is how many miles you have on your Tank 200, and what problems have you had with it? Most videos on Chinese scooters were made shortly after purchase. 90% of them have less than 100 miles on the scooter and the other 10% have less than 1000 miles. I would love to see videos of Chinese scooters with over 5000, and even over 10,000 miles on them. Any thing that is fairly new does and should work fine.
@@JeffBassir-lo6zj Thanks for watching. I did a 1000 mile review a few days ago and went over a few things.
I have ridden thousands of miles on 65 mph roads on a 50cc scooter. I ride on the shoulder, just like bicyclists do. I wear a white helmet and an orange road construction vest. A 50cc scooter requires a motorcycle license, registration, plate, and insurance in my state. I also ride old school 50cc pedal mopeds. While they only require a drivers license (IF they have functional pedals, and the MVD will make sure of that) they must still be registered, plated, and insured. If they do have functional pedals, you get a special moped plate.
That's funny.... in the mid90's I lost my DL & bought a TOMOS 50cc moped. Mind you while it had pedals it also had a fairing with a sleek finish which made it look like a small motorcycle. It had 20 inch tires, front -n- back which gives you great control but the reason for a 50cc bike is that in most States you can ride this w/o any type of DL or insurance. Mine got 115 miles to a gallon of gas & had an automatic oil injection system & oil tank that mixed the fuel for me. I added am aftermarket muffler & electronic to change how fast she ran & I could do about 42mph..... Yes, I got stopped a few times, never ticketed. Be safe out there !
right..... 49.9cc's was the specs on mine. But the stuff I added got me 12 miles an hour faster speeds.
I ordered the army green. It arrives this Tuesday. Very excited. Thanks for another great vid.
Hope you enjoy it. Check all your nuts and bolts and tighten them up. Also check where the exhaust connects to the engine. Mine was missing the nuts on it. The bolts were there though.
hi for which town it was? Ty in advance
i so wanna do what your doing. love the idea of putting the scooter in the tent away from possible thieving eyes. I just got me a yamaha zuma 125 and plan on doing this! great ideas my man. But i think ill bring me a small cooler or tiny box with ice packs or something, some pre patted burgers and grill some burgers near dark a big bag of chips some coca cola. be a good time. Another idea you can do to is get a portable rechargable tv. i bought one on qvc and it works great so you can have some comforting tv noise when it gets dark. i Look forward to it. I hope you go camping again and please video it. each time bring different goodies with you, food and gear. see what that awesome little scooter can hold.
Thanks for watching. Scooter camping is definitely fun. I want to do it again. I just gotta get use to camping near roads. I like hiking out deep in the woods and hide away lol. Unfortunately there are no riding trails where I live. I would love to just ride out into the woods and find a remote area to pull off into.
Questions? Please help I live in Florida how fast does a 50cc goes? Can I use my regular driver license and does need registration and insurance? Thanks . Thanks for sharing videos.
I have the 150cc version , but where did you get the settlebags?
It came with the bike. I ordered the Tank 200 Deluxe from Arlington PowerSports. It’s 168cc and comes with the side boxes and trunk.
i miss not needing a plate for mine now you have to register it but you also dont need any license
4:14 😂😂😂😂 worst anniversary ever
The slow down on the curves will always be a great idea on public roads because ya never know how many drops of oil or antifreeze was put down by a cager before you got there on your scoot. Love these backroad videos!! Later man!
Thanks for watching. I need to get outta town and do some more country roads. Maybe some less curvy ones next time lol.
😄😄😄😄. Read the rules, I did, and it costs me pllllllenty
and aslo, how does it do going up steep hills?
It’s great going uphill. You won’t get full speed but it has enough power to get up without struggling.
where did u buy it from? like what website?
@@isaiahlea856 ArlingtonPowersports.com
@@TheOutdoorExperience thx for the link
license plate is gold 😂
Buy a ruger, no fixes needed.
I got a Ruger LCP MAX. Only some minor ammo issues with some range ammo.
Do you know if these scooters can have a side car attached also a trailer?
I’ve seen people rig up trailers before but not a sidecar. I’m sure someone could do something if they had the mechanical skills to do so.
@@TheOutdoorExperience Who is the company who makes these scooters? Maybe I should ask them directly?
Vitacci is the importer but the actual company is in China. It’s called Yongfu. Not sure how you would get ahold of them though.
@@TheOutdoorExperience I’ll give it a try thank you 🙏
whatchu gotta do now is modify the hell out of the moped and still call it a 49cc when pulled over haha
guy pulled you over just to try and start shit. glad he was arrested and fired
Can you post a link to the rear rack attachment? Good vids
Yea here you go: a.co/d/0hFru2xb
Rule.1 Do NOT Approach Where or When it was heard from the forest just leave them Do not make a noise 3.Always with your buddy 4.Dont go on the forest or the woods at night it is very dangerous they say there are many paranormal 5.walk on your way home 6.do not make them see you 7.close your windows and lock your doors if only the noise is near report to the police or something 8.Always Bring a Knife or a gun they might be aggressive 9.Do not Scream or whistle on the woods 10.Dont joke about ghost because some woods are very cursed demons likes to stay at the woods and climb on them
In Florida , we can operate a 49.9999cc or smaller scooter on an regular Class E license or , of course , a motorcycle license but tag and rgistration is a must .
Yeah I do doordash/uber eats and have been looking into getting a descent-powered scooter but apparently I need the motorcycle endorsement , never heard of an option of a permit for motorcycles . FYI , they make these huge food backpacks but wouldn't those storage units that came with the bike work for that ? How is the bike doing now ? Have you gotten it up to top speed and how much weight do you load this up to , including yourself ?
Missouri has a permit for 6 months that can be renewed one time so you can have a permit up to a year. I have my endorsement now. I started out dashing on a 50cc which only requires a basic drivers license. I have a big 16x16x16 delivery bag that I use on this scooter. This goes up to 55mph pretty easily. The most weight I’ve had on it with myself was just under 300lbs when I went camping with it. I weigh 195. The weight limit is 331lbs.
got my deluxe coming from Arlington on Monday. I ordered “assembled” too. What did u have to do besides attach mirrors and add gas? Did u have to add oil, put in spark plugs etc? Or was it ready to roll after mirrors and gas?
Just the mirrors, trunk, side luggage boxes, and gas. I did the first engine oil and gear oil change at 300 miles as recommended. I did the engine oil again at 500 miles because I’m gonna do it every 500 miles after that and the gear oil every 1k miles.
Make sure you do a once over on all the important nuts and bolts. Wheel nuts, brake calipers, exhaust, etc.
How are you mic'd? I bought a GoPro not long ago and try making a video. With wind reduction on it sounds like absolute garbage. You sound good. How lol
MOVO ACM400 mic. Here is my helmet setup in detail: czcams.com/video/Tp5d4KSBbD0/video.htmlsi=An_6eVjV_RtqFHXt
I was looking into purchasing the purple panda mic but boy am I glad I stumbled across this video! Will be purchasing the Movo mic now! I also did not like the idea of the adapter, I’ve heard from other creators that the adapter connection is finicky to maintain! Thank you so much, love the video!
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching!
A 600 mile trip?? You are crazier than I am 😆 I'm afraid to go more than 20 miles from home on my scooter lol I hear ya about the heat. I'd like to wear more gear for safety, but I have a hard time dealing with heat as I get older.
And that’s only one way 😆 The farthest I’ve gone on this scooter was 30 miles when I went camping a few weeks ago. The only thing I would worry about is breaking down because I’m not rich enough to get it back home 😆 But I’m still gonna do it someday. Maybe early spring would be better when I have my tax money.
Do you know what size screw holds the the headlight botton mines came out
Just curious, have you tried kick starting your scooter?
I’ve never had to use it to start it but I have tested it before and it works great.
@@TheOutdoorExperience i’ve tried to get mine with the kickstart to just to test it and it will not start. Key is on and Killswitch is on, but no go. 🤦♀️
@maskmite1 Are you holding the brake lever in? Kickstart won’t work without the brake on.
@@TheOutdoorExperience yes with the break engaged. Still no luck.
@maskmite1 You doing the bounce bounce kick? 😆 Sometimes I gotta get the gear spun around in the perfect spot and give it a good kick. The kickstart gear is free spinning in there. Not locked into the right spot every time.
I do speed limit yellow signs in curves ..... so I understand curve 😨
When I had my 150 Super Hornet, curves were better. On a scooter, you can’t hold on with your legs in the lean 😆
@TheOutdoorExperience the sound of wind is sometimes needed maybe a little bit of music 🎶 🎵 and it's Gold
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Perhaps you could mount a camera aiming at your rear tire and drive over some bumps, and see if you capture what's going on with that noise you hear ? Glad you're enjoying your ride, thanks for sharing n' God bless
I do have a 360 camera that I could put down there and see what’s going on. I can stand up and sit down hard to make that scraping sound. I just can’t figure out where it’s coming from 🤔
A guy at my LGS hit an antelope doing 70 and everyone said he should have died... He was jack up for a year+... Keep your head on a swivel, watch your top knot, thanks for sharing n' God bless brother
I hope I never have to experience that. I’ve seen lots of deer on my rides.
Love the review. Thanks for sharing my picture. I will try to make a video of me trying to replace the plastic cover. It comes in today.
did you get your scooter? working well and no problems?
@@brianwillis1577 I get it today
A great honest review glad you have had more enjoyment on it the not ..... 1k mile your still breaking it in Brotherman keep riding
Definitely enjoying it. Had to go back out the next day and hit the country roads 😆
Thanks for another review. Curious as to how the fuel mileage is on it
Thanks for watching! I reset the trip every time I fill up and I’ve been getting around 85 miles a tank. I believe it’s a 1.3 gallon tank.
Good to hear from you again. Thanks for the review. I've been thinking about a tank be abuse my 2003 49cc rukus is getting old and slow lol.
Thanks for watching! I really like it myself. Just make sure you do a once over on all the nuts and bolts!
Thanks for the updated review for your scooter. Not a lot of long term reviews on these yet and I’ve been thinking about getting one. How’s the distance between your knees and the handlebars? I’m 6’1 and my last concern before I commit is how cramped I’d be on it.
I’m 5’9” and I sit halfway back on the passenger seat. If I sat where I’m suppose to, I feel cramped but still have room between my knees and handlebars. Not sure how it would work for 6’1” though.
That rack looks like it could accommodate an inflatable kayak.
I have an inflatable kayak that folds up into a duffel bag and it would definitely strap down to that rack.
Dumbass cop doesn't know the laws he's supposed to be enforcing. He should get a ticket for being wrong.
He got a DUI a few months later and fired 😆
Whats your top speed on the hwy?
Highest I got was 58mph but I usually get around 55.
My Tank200 arrives later this week. What type of gas do you recommend? Unleaded? Premium? Or?
Just the regular unleaded. I think 93.
Thanks for the review. Do you hear rattling sounds when you ride? From the bike itself or perhaps from the trunks? Have you compared the speedometer reading against GPS? Any problems at all since you bought it?
I’ll be doing my 1000 mile review soon and going over a few things.
You do not need 0
