Another possibility for light strikes is that the hammer has an ever so slight raised edge (burr) on the strike face of it. It's seems unnoticeable until you really look at it good and even use a crisp metal edge like a knife to slightly drag across it, and that raised edge will grab the knife...
I could really see this on mine... and ultimately this burr left uneven wear on the new paint where the hammer hits... If people are able to diagnose this the fix is slightly sanding it...
Anyway... I remember watching your LCP Max vid and enjoyed it.... It came to mind because I recently scored the LCP II 380 and thought of your vid so thought I'd check out your channel again...
