The thing i hate most the way i speak is that my accent proceeds my fluency in the way other people perceive my intelligence. I’m not a genius, but with out doing any bragging I can say I am intelligent. My iq is in the high 130s or low 140s. Ive taken several of the clinically. I am well read. You know how you feel when Americans don't respect part of your European culture? Well, in the US, celebrating our heritage is part of OUR culture. We are a nation of immigrants. And if you think it's stupid, fine. I grew up in a town in New Jersey of Polish and Russian immigrants. We learned Polish prayers, customs and songs in the Catholic elementary school that I attended. We had parties that featured Polka bands and dancing and Polish food. As a kid, everyone I knew over the age of 45 had a European accent... I thought that was just natural. I was called a "dumb pollack" as a kid, because Polish immigrants were considered stupid by multi-generational Americans. So if I want to identify as Polish... or Irish like my grandfather, or Scottish like my beloved grandmother and you don't like it then screw you. You are disrespecting my culture. I try not to disrespect yours when I travel to Europe, as I often do.

I haven’t seen it yet 100% native in DNA. I thought people that look 100% native would be 100% native DNA but it always seems like there’s always a percentage of Spanish.

I know this is a really old video 😄 I took an Ancestry DNA test, and also a 23andMe test, and my results came back 2% Indigenous Americas-North on Ancestry, and 2.1% Indigenous American with 23andMe. I’m a Black American Female. I didn’t take these DNA test to find out if I had Native American, I was more interested in finding out information concerning my father’s side of the family. The DNA estimates were the bonus and I’m really happy with my results regardless…even if it hadn’t showed up I would have been fine, but I’m proud of my 2% Native American 😂
