You sound exactly like my friend, to the point I almost thought you were him for a second. I'd have to ask though. How'd you get your homemade booklets cut so cleanly? When I measure out my sheets of paper, they're always off by a few hundredths of an inch, and I have a small issue of my booklets ever so slighty poking out of my notebook compared to yours. Edit: I feel dumb. 1.) You have links in the description. 2.) I actually have a paper craft cutter I bought recently, and I put one of the notebooks I made with the paper cutter into my travelers passport notebook and I forgot that the other two notebooks I have in there are still the hand cut with scissors so they poke out a bit. The papercraft cut one are almost perfect in size.
Safer to remove the cartridge on the vanishing point and dip it
Too late i dip it into a cup of coffee

Japanese pens are just better than American/European. Its not debatable. Fit and finish is better, performances etc.
I think it depends, as different folks have different inclinations, and likes. Every country brand, has their own strengths and weakness. To just mention the Big 3 of Japanese Cos: Pilot, Sailor, Platinum. I can think of one common word to describe them in general: CONSISTENCY. Their pens are very consistent in terms of "you know what you are getting, straight out of the box". Thanks for commenting and watching! :)
Hey , i really like all your pens collection but why don't you put the order link of that respective pen I really wonna buy them all Please share me this pen's order link ❤️
Hey thanks for watching! :) Most of my pens I bought through auction or through the local 2nd hand market; including this one.
@@pen_journal okay ☺️ Thanks for replying
Worked! Thank You!

Cap disassembly?
Ah, sorry! Forgotten about the cap! Typically I don't do cap disassemblies unless it's absolutely necessary. Given such, I had no experience in taking a 2k Cap apart to be honest.
Whats the name of the nib incase its breaks
I'm sorry, I don't quite get what you mean...
I got solution ,nice video
Thanks for watching! :) Glad it helped!
Good bro it works ❤

I am a Christian and I love your letter to Jesus. I would be interested in learning more. I’m glad I found your channel. I just started a TN, and the standard size is perfect. I am a lady, I use my TN to keep up with YT videos and upcoming projects. New subbie!💜💜💜
Praise God and thank you! :) Noted, will do a followup video on that, hopefully soon! Thanks for watching and subbing! :)
Thank you!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching as well!! :)
Does he notice he’s using the dull side of the blade???
Thank you for asking :) Yes. I used the dull side of the blade so that it won’t “over-scratch” the resin, but it’s sharp enough to remove the name embossing.
Great ideas, I especially enjoyed the Bible study ideas. God bless.
Thank you Rob! Hope that inspires you to draw closer to Him! :)

Lovely review, new subscriber, have been thinking of getting this pen, i do calligraphy and write copperplate as i my normal style, you bring up the same points i have issue with, the plastic feed, they really could have changed it to an ebonite by now, and the peice. For me it is very expensive and i will be saving for this, thats why to have to go get an ebonite feed is a bit much. Loved your review and i still hope to get this pen. I also am looking at tge Pilot custom 823, brown with medium nib, that from i have gleaned from reviews has no issues, its just not a flex . God bless
Thanks for watching Helen! :) The Custom 823, does come with a Pilot #15 FA Nib as well... same for the Custom 743, but they could be Japan Exclusive only; need to check. You can actually get by using the plastic feed, just write slower to prevent skips... Cheers! :)
I need Jesus too
Amen! Everyone needs Jesus!!!
Thanks, it worked

More prayer walks in Singapore! Very nice
Thank you so much!!!! It's more of a personal prayer walk, just soaking in the quiet atmosphere, away from all the noise and busyness of life, to get in-tuned with the Spirit... God, never disappoints!
I don't know how many times I have revived my safari's blue ink cartridge with this. Although the ink is fading away each time lol. I need to get a new cartridge soon!!
Is that campus notebook inset jsut a regular campus notebook cut in half or did you buy it that way?
I cut a B5 Campus notebook to a TN size :) I do have a video in my channel that shows how I do it. Thanks for watching! :)
Awesome tip thanks!
Thanks for watching too! :)
tried this, but it became dry again after a few lines any tips? i have tried cleaning it too
It could be a nib issue, BUT I would do these things in order: 1) Inspect the nib for misaligned tines. 2) Do a complete thorough clean of the pen and change to a different ink.
After disassembling my LAMY 2000 a few times, I have observed that the first couple of threads on the plastic piston shaft/rod have been chewed up by the piston knob thingamabob. I strongly believe that the strange sounds that one hears while trying to disassemble the piston is exactly the chewing sounds from this destructive process. I would not suggest disassembling the LAMY 2000 this manner. I have a partially destroyed LAMY 2000, now, which sounds strangely now every time, and I am not sure if I will manage to get a replacement piston shaft. I am noting that I have followed very strictly all the instructions available from retailers in CZcams, and still that whole "catastrophe" happened. Do not take out the piston shaft. That would be my advice folks.
I see.. Thank you for your advice! That's one thing I did not see coming.. But given you have more experience in the Lamy 2Ks, that's good sound advice. Thank you! :)
@@pen_journal quite disappointed to be honest. I have asked LAMY Global whether they are selling a replacement piston shaft, and now wait to see what happens.
@@7_v610 Thank you for giving us the heads up... Hopefully they can get back to you with a favourable solution.
@@pen_journal my pleasure. If/when I hear back from LAMY, I will try to mention here what options (if any) they came back to me with.
@@7_v610 Thank you so much!!! :)

Indeed, it's a beauty! :) Thanks for watching!
Great video! Nice and practiced without all the fluff so many of the ladies add to their reviews. Thank you. Love that you are not afraid to share your faith!
Thanks for the lovely compliments and glad you liked the video! :)
Thank you for this, my pen wasn't since 4-5 months and I was worried that do we have to buy a new one? I saw your video and it finally worked ...I can't tell how much grateful I am...🎉🎉🙏🙏
Glad it helped! Praise God! Thanks for watching as well! :D
Hello, your video is very informative. I watched many videos about Lamy 2000, read many reviews and finally bought it from Amazon. But unfortunately I was disappointed. I was attracted by the overall look of the pen, no issues here. However, I bought an F nib and it was not as comfortable as I wanted. First of all, instead of a gold nib there was hard writing that looked like steel, and the ink was very pale and dry, hardly flowing at all. I washed the palate of the pen several times with warm water and mild pure soap, but the result did not change. .Since I trust the Lamy company, I sent it to the service instead of returning it. He stayed as a guest in Germany for about two months and returned. To be honest, not much has changed. My opinion about the pen is that it writes hard and dry, the ink is not enough for reflex writing such as signatures. I also have a Lamy 2000 OM nib, it is very thick so my writings are wet. , I don't think the pen Nib feels like 14 carat gold. Platinum "M" nib doesn't even give the pleasure of a fountain pen. I'm sorry, but I couldn't warm up to the pen, so what do you think I should do?
I think it all depends. First off, the Lamy 2K is a pen that has a sweet spot, not good for writers that tend to "roll" their pens when they write (just like me); so I used my 2k for short sentences (for headers and short paragraphs)... If you can manage and like the OM nib, and struggle to like the F nib, I would suggest to sell or trade off the Lamy (F) and just keep the OM. The pen should serve you and if it doesn't "fit" your writing style, than move on. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps! Thanks for watching! :)
How does this differ from a personal organiser? These seem to be very similar (customisable etc).
I think the core difference is the fact that you can swap out different kind of notebooks in /out of your TN. And it can be used for different purposes. Some used it as a wallet, scrapbook, diary, sketchbook etc. It's much more customisable and more personal and more versatile compared to a "traditional orgainzer."
@@pen_journal thanks, that’s exactly like a personal organiser. It sounds like TN is just the new personal organiser.
@@rolandcook2556 Thanks for your comments and feedback :)
Which nib ? M, B ?
Thanks for watching. It should be a M. :)

Thanksss man, saved my gift🥺🤌🏻
Welcome! Glad it helped! :)
The plastic insert that clips onto the nib in the pen lid of my Meisterstuck has become detached, so comes out attached to the nib when you take off the lid. Any idea how to reattach it or get a new one? Thanks!
I’m sorry. Not sure if I got you correctly. Are you saying that the grip section area had came off?

Very scratchy? Or is it just me. I like soft wet and bouncy nibs
Keep up the faith brother !!! Most important of all.
Thank you Daniel for the firm reminder! :)
I’ve found that the best use of my eye-dropper fountain pens is to keep them at a desk ready for use. They’re not great to turn into travelling pens or even pocket pens. Any change of temperature or pressure (like in airplanes) will cause it to “burp” ink.
Absolutely Pamela and thanks for sharing! I noticed that eye dropper pens are very prone to burping, and it's causing quite a bit of feed over-saturation as well. Thanks for sharing your experience! :)
Perfect! Just what I was looking for. Thanks!
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching! :)
Wow. That IS a beautiful pen. I love Pilot, but good lord I have so many black pens. I wish they would come out with more colors, even if it was just one or two every couple years.
Indeed! Pilot should have vested in more of such gorgeous pens! But having them in limited quantities make this range of pens very valuable for collectors! Thanks for watching! :)
