I’m using the free trial and then intend to buy it. I did the downloading of the library and the relocated to an external ssd. Everything was working perfectly but then the library became unattainable. I had to re-download it so now I have the library on my ssd and in logic. Is there something I did wrong? Thanks man!

6:13 Why would someone use an eq to add character to the mix? There's plugins specifically for that.

This can never be achieved using any other dynamic eq. Diferent octaves have different needs of eq. Gullfuss is the closest thing to zynaptiq unfilter or acon digital defilter. I know gullfuss only works as an eq, but the results are pretty close to the 2 others.

Great job explaining built in RAID 0 and RAID 1 built into OS X. Have you thought about using a HiPoint 7101a NVME hardware raid card, you should get speeds of about 7 Gigabytes per second read and writes on a 16x PCie 2.0 bus.

Loving this series. I want to multi sample my drum kit. Would you suggest using one sampler instrument for the whole kit or using DMD and a sampler for each piece? Would love to see a full in depth tutorial on this with different velocities and snare center, rim shots, variations on hi hat positions, etc. Thanks!

Great video as always ❤ I was wondering could I use the humanize feature on a midi track without a session player? As I usually prefer to program my own drum beats without the use of the Drummer, but sometimes struggle to achieve that “real” sound.

Ever since the 11 update came out I've been playing around with these AI session players. Like a micromanaging band conductor, you can quite literally tell them how to play and they will do a pretty decent job. You can make them do another take with the exact same settings to generate subtle variations. Now the vocalists get to fire the whole band.

After cubase/nuendo 15 years ago when I switched this part of logic was the most annoying/weird thing ever. When I clicked the playhead it went to in between values no matter what I set up at snap to settings so I misaligned regions when I pasted them maybe they fixed that already. It is still set to relative values by default which is just crazy. And when You have a perfectly aligned note or region, the GUI often shows it off the grid. Why the quantize note end is so hidden and cumbersome to use. Crazy. Eventually I got accustomed to it and know how to use it, but the relative value thing is still killing me why it is default and why it is implemented this way. Also why midi chase is not default??? And why these things cannot be changed to default, I know, make templates but still, I feel like despite some new fancy updates they don't actually develop it the way it should. So many outdated things in it even in the 11. Cool video your videos should be included with the purchase.

Is there a quick way to recall different presets and fader positions for different songs on the fly? I’m thinking of a “scenes/snippets” feature found in mixers like the x32.
