If you're writing the vocal melody and lyrics last, you're doing it backwards (imo)

Better hook: The final line of the chorus. Instead of “I can not save myself,” I would try ”I can’t even save myself” Adds a syllable and lands the message. It’s going to sound great either way. Looking forward to the next video.

It takes a lot of vulnerability to share this raw process artistically speaking. My hats off to you and as new Logic Pro user this video addresses some excellent techniques that will improve my songwriting/compositional skills when using the DAW as a songwriting tool!

I just figured out I've been recording my guitar bass and vocals in stereo with one input or mic. Finally recording in mono sure is nice!

Yes, I only keep em open when I’m editing takes cause otherwise it eats up a bunch vertical space.
