Yes! The TI-30X Pro MathPrint is my favorite (but if you are more comfortable with Casio get a Casio). It is really hard to get the TI-30X Pro MathPrint (my favorite) in USA because it ships out of UK. Here it is from eBay: ebya.io/3Hdn The TI-36X Pro is great and much easier to get in USA, the only downside is it cannot do the quadratic formula: amz.run/9Oux The Casio fx-991EX has been discontinued. You can still buy it on eBay, but there are fakes out there apparently. The Casio fx-991ES Plus 2nd edition is a cheaper option with all the SAT related functionality (I believe it can even do quadratic formula): amz.run/9Ov0 Let me know what you decide to get. Ah, no, it does not say you can round. An actual SAT question will specify (or make the question Multiple Choice). Don't worry about it! I suppose 262.98 is 6 characters => and on the bluebook app you could round or truncate to 5 characters. Truncated: 262.9 Rounded: 263.0 or 263 My original point still stands => this would likely be a Multiple Choice question.

The question is not asking you to find the angle. It is asking you to find the tangent of that angle. You are never expected to use sine inverse, cosine inverse, or tangent inverse on the SAT. I hope this helps! If you were to find an angle knowing only sides, CB would probably want you to recognize that it is 45-45-90 or 30-60-90 (which is not the case for this problem). You won't get asked that! :)

An actual SAT problem would give you nicer numbers or specify whether to round. I wanted you to read this question as "round to the nearest hundredth" (because that's how prices are rounded in USA). 2625/53 would be too many characters to type into the Bluebook app. You can only put 5 characters into the bluebook app for a positive number (your answer is 7 characters). Hi! So for a Linear Quadratic System You have 2 options (kinda): If the Line is Horizontal (as is the case in question 2) you can use the h=-b/(2a) formula since the horizontal line will go thru the vertex. I cover this in this video: czcams.com/video/UapG82wxmuM/video.html If the line is slanted, you MUST use the Discriminant, which I cover in this video: czcams.com/users/shortsIFRQUaiLuMs My by hand solution to Question 2 can be found here: czcams.com/video/ZqETyGRcMbc/video.html You'll notice I used the Discriminant since that is the method kids tend to struggle with. My viewpoint has always been "why learn 2 methods when one of them only works sometimes?". It just makes for more memorization, despite the algebra in the Discriminant method being tricky.
