haha I am watching from Nepal as well. Felt good to see majority of students from my country learning from you . Plethora of thanks to you Kyle. You are a legend for everyone. I never thought statistics as difficult but don't know why I always felt uneasy doing this. But after watching this video, I feel a lot more confident than ever before. Your videos on Desmos, CI,MOE, and Scale factors were life saver for me. Again thanks a lot sir.
Love from Nepal ❤❤
You rock, friend! Thanks so much for writing this kind comment. Hope to chat at a livestream sometime soon. Make sure you drop by the Community Tab and update me on your progress. Best of luck!
@@Tutorllini sure sir, i will certainly join and chat with you next time if the time zone and situation favours me.
Also, i how do i update about my progress in community tab? I couldn't see any post related to you asking us about the progress or any other things. Or i might have missed it. Would you please guide me once again?.
And yeah I am planning to give SAT in June.(Wanted to let you know haha😂)
@@Crazy77772 Hey! The Community Tab is here:

I make a score release day meme and a good luck meme for each exam. I will also (over the summer?) make a post for life updates annually (since some of the earlier students are graduating and off to college).
The livestreams are here. I may do one tomorrow (Saturday) at around 11AM Eastern Time (about 9PM Kathmandu Time):

If you want as well, I can send you the invite to the viewer Discord (which I share in livestreams).

Hi, Kyle! Thanks for your videos. They help me to understand topics better. When will you post the next videos?🥺
You're welcome, Нобара! The next Ottocento video will release on February 18. In the meantime, you should definitely check out my SHORTS. I am making tons of mini lessons on things that may not have designated videos yet.

Peace!
I am an international student. I took my last sat in June 2023 and got 1040. Now I am prepairing for march sat. Do you think it is possible to get 1500? I am studying for 2 months. @@Tutorllini
@@nobarakazimova Hey! So unfortunately I cannot predict the future nor do I know your study habits / skills at all. So, I do not know! That being said, it seems like a lofty goal. I would try to allot more time to study and possibly take the test again in May or June or August. Remember, smaller incremental goals are always better. Each time you hit a small goal, re-assess and adjust your plan as needed :) I hope this helps!
Cool! very helpful video.
Can you make a video about some tricky wording SAT problems?
Hi Phương! I highly suggest you check out my Problem Sette Series (4 vids currently) which is full of free worksheets of challenging word problems.
czcams.com/video/BIB2lSXO5oI/video.html
I hope this helps!
hello, these videos are really helpful and extremely beneficial, keep up the good work tutollini. Uhm i just wanted to ask, is it possible if you can post the slides of explanations and formulas as pdfs somewhere, that way itd be easier for students to review formulas and notes before the exam instead of researching for them in the videos. Thank you so much again, best one out there.
Hi Myriam! Glad the videos are helping. You can find many of the Ottocento Concepts summarized in my Flashcards:
www.youtube.com/@Tutorllini/shorts
I spend 15 to 50 hours making each of these lectures - and they don't get a lot of views. If I released PDFs of the notes, even fewer people would watch them, which would hurt my channel. I encourage you to take handwritten notes as you watch the video during your first viewing.
Best of luck!
Hi Kyle. Thank you so much for this series. They're so great! I got a question, Does the Ottocento series cover all topics on the DSAT?
Hi thanks for your support! Yeah there is definitely more than 9 topics on the exam. I intend to make more. This will take years to fully complete. In the meantime you can check out my Practice Test playlist, Problem Sette, and SHORTS for way more concepts not covered here.
@Tutorllini Thank you so much Kyle and oh Happy Belated Birthday 🎂
@@nanaadu8249 You're welcome! Thank you so much :)
In Q11 of work sheet how do you determine that what to minimize and what to maximize
Hi Haq! It is all number sense.
To make a fraction larger: top is BIG bottom is small
To make a fraction smaller: top is small bottom is BIG
Play with the sliders here, it may help you understand:
www.desmos.com/calculator/hnfqckjjmo
I hope this helps!
thanks for the video!
again, Thank u so much for this helpful video . I wish u the best !!!
Very helpful
in the optimization part, how do I know which one should I minimize and which one should I maximize?
I go over the problems covered in this video. There's nothing I can tell you to memorize. You have to figure it out each time. Try using made up values (SIMPLER PROBLEM) to figure out what do as I cover in the lecture.
All the best!
Hey Kyle, hope you are doing well. I will be taking the dSAT in March, completed all your ottocento videos. Currently practicing these skills. Can you suggest other playlist to ace in the math section? I hope to get over 750 at least. Lastly, Can you suggest me any channel or website except Khan Academy for English section. Struggling to find good content. Thank you again. Take love from Bangladesh.
And you are an amazing person, May you prosper in life

Please be sure to review the channel homepage for my other playlists and featured channels:

The only other channel I see consistently put out quality content is Settele Tutoring. SCORE has some good videos for R&W but not that many. Links at bottom of my channel Home.
This guy also has some very old, solid Math and Grammar videos, but I personally found the videos a little boring and all over the place:

If you have some money for affordable paid resources, I can offer another recommendation. Let me know. Peace and thanks for commenting!
@@Tutorllini Thanks for reply, I will try to be present at the live streaming!
For seeing how spread the data is in two datasets. Do we follow this approach?
Spread = Average(#_Of_Points*abs_distance_from_mean)
If dataset A had 6 points at distance 1 from mean and dataset B had 4 points at distance 1 from mean.
Does it mean that A is more spread.
Hi! For standard deviation, simply "eyeball" which data set appears to be more spread out. Here is another video from @SetteleTutoring that covers it:
czcams.com/video/36Oz5nEcy6I/video.html
Best of luck!
why i do not get the mean with desmos when i write mean(type numbers)?? at problem 59.36
Desmos does not have a built in function for means and medians of frequency tables/histograms. It only works for lists. That problem is not a list (it is a frequency table). My advice is focus less on shortcuts and more on learning the exam content. These skills you mention are covered a second time in my most recent SHORTS...
www.youtube.com/@Tutorllini/shorts
when will the probability table video drop😋
is it possible to have an outlier and then to be asked about standered deviation
Sure - Standard Deviation is a measure of SPREAD. So however the outlier affects the range (increase/decrease) it effects the stdev in the same way. I hope this helps!
@@Tutorllini it does helps, thank youu
wow, too much knowledge in this lesson, it took me 2 days to finish this video
