This video shows the installation for Align Tactical's OFFSET Extended Magazine Release, which is compatible with Sig Sauer P320 M17/M18 and P250 pistols. There are two methods for replacing the magazine release and this is the easiest when using a pointed tool such as a small picture hanging nail or push pin. The other method would involve fluctuating pressure with a L-shaped hex wrench or sim...
Does it interfere with holstering?
Any updates on a left handed version?
Do they make that for TP9's?
unfortunately the TP9 design doesn't have the features needed. Great reason to upgrade to the Mete/Rival though. :0)
This won’t work for the mc9 huh?
Not yet, planned
@@aligntactical sweet! Please keep me posted on that ! Would be awesome!
Love your product! I wish you come out with thumb rest for Walter PDP and Xmacro
Thanks! Working on them
Whoa... What holster is that? I'm assuming it has to accommodate the gas pedal
Black holster is Black Scorpion Gear, the red one is from Lytton Custom Holsters. Links on the product page to all compatible holsters with the thumb rest. Thanks!
*Come on man! Not the Blue Nitrile Millennial hand condoms? Why? Are you afraid of getting toxic man syndrome? Hiding your identity because you are trans? *
I challenge y’all to install with an Allen key and a pair of tweezers
This is awesome, gunna order one for my g26, are you guy's planning on making one for the FN 545?
No plans at this time, but may change once we catch up with the current development schedule. Thanks
wish they had holsters that allowed this upgrade
Your wish is granted, please refer to Align Tactical's Compatible Holster Manufacturers for select models from Black Scorpion Gear, Werkz, GX Products, Precision Holsters, Carey Concealment, SOUSA, Red River Tactical, Black-Rhino Concealment, and Lytton Custom Holsters. @@aligntactical that was the only thing stopping me from getting this now i'll have top go check it out...thanks
now go buy a new holster...
Same as adding a new weapons light or other add on. There are some existing holsters that fit, such as the Safariland 63XX series if in LE/Mil, otherwise check the 21 other popular Holster Manufacturers (with more to be announced)on the website. Please refer to Align Tactical's Compatible Holster Manufacturers for select models from Black Scorpion Gear, Werkz, Safariland, Red Hill Tactical, Priority 1 Holsters, GX Products, Red River Tactical, Black-Rhino Concealment, Precision Holsters, Grey Man Solutions, Custom Holster Solutions, Orpaz Defense, Tier1 Concealed, Tacrig, Tenicor, Crossbreed, Raven Concealment Systems, American Concealment Solutions, and Lytton Custom Holsters.
can this be installed on a canik tti combat?
yes
Seems a little annoying you need to partially remove it for disassembly but my biggest concerns is if it walks out more easily that the originally pin. Probably going to order one today.
You’ll be so cool
It is retained by the slide catch under spring tension in the trigger pin grooves. With the additional friction fit of the anti-rotation stop, we've never had one walk. Reviewers state it fixed that issue with their OEM pin. Takes 1 second to back it out with a key or any tool on hand, so not an issue when deciding to disassemble the pistol for cleaning. You'll love it.
Garbace junk pis craps 👎👎👎👎🐦⬛🐦⬛
Are you guys going to be making this for the P365's?
In the works
No thanks, the one thing that attracted me to Glock were the clean smooth surfaces..
It’s a joke like extended slide and mag releases.
No worries, some may prioritize the concealed carry profile over performance. For Tactical applications like LE/Mil running Safariland duty 63XX series holsters or USPSA Competition shooters however, this makes a difference in faster follow-up shots. This is where extended controls make a difference. Others are willing to carry IWB if it already fits in many of their existing holsters as to not affect the draw and get the best of both worlds.
When will u make a pfp gas pedal ?
im confused by the bio, so does it work with Gen 5 G47 or no? im a little slow
Is this USPSA legal?
overpriced asf
Will this fit the new canik TTI combat. I am having trouble with cycling because my left /week hand has had 5 operations. The TTI apparently has a different recoil compared to the rival and mete I have both and have no issues with then . The gun shop I bought the TTI from has proved that my hand is the problem because of the recoil spring and compensator that is on the TTI . Great video best in CZcams until they take it down 😊
It will 100 percent!
Just to be 100% sure. This does work on Glock 26 too right?
Yes
Nice pedal 🤘🏽🥵
Please make a gen 3
making them now and will be released any week now
The only problem is holster compatibility

Are yall ever gonna make one for the older gen Glocks?
Have the first production parts made and should be on the website in around 4 weeks.
@@aligntactical Thats amazing! I will probably buy one as soon as it goes live. Will I have to make any modifications to a safariland als holster?
@@theunsunghero117 no modifications needed. Runs smooth!
@@aligntactical Oh wow, I'm getting more and more excited for it!
Only reason I don’t red dot mine and get good with it is cause it’s just another thing to get snagged when I need to draw am I just over thinking it?
Drawing from a belt-worn Kydex holster should be clean without issue. Where snagging tends to happen is with sights or beaver tail on shirts from not lifting high enough upon drawing and is something to work on with training. A thumb rest wouldn't snag as it would be facing skin and not the shirt side. Snagging becomes more of an issue for pocket carry where one is pulling it through a garment, pants pocket, jacket, etc. and that is where micro pistols get the melt jobs and controls practically removed like say the P365 SAS, where even the sights are removed. With larger pistols in a kydex holster it isn't an issue. When re-holstering, movements should always be slow and deliberate with the pistol pointed away from the body.
Do you guys make this for a lefty?
Not on the roadmap at this time, but if there is enough future demand we will. The Glock rest will likely be the next lefty part we make.
I wish someone would make one for the beretta apx models! The takedown lever could have served as a thumb rest or pedal if they wanted it to.
Will consider it, thanks
Called a gas pedal
Unbeknownst to most, "Gas Pedal" is actually a licensed trademark from GRIP HOLDINGS, LLC for the last 15 years (otherwise known as. Go Guns USA) for their products and has been playfully, but incorrectly applied to all Thumb Rests, which is the generic term. The Gas Pedal reference was used by some shooters before 2009 and believed to have been since the 1980's but is no longer applicable today unless talking about a very specific brand after they claimed it for their private use.
Solo sirve para usar en polígonos... Para portar es una piedra en el zapato. A la Glock dejenlá como viene que le sobra de todos lados...✌️
Do you guys know if these will work with Tenicor holsters?
Tenicor says they don't, but we had a customer who says it runs fine in their Tenicor holster.
@@aligntactical thanks guys, I got your thumb rest and can confirm it works great on my Tenicor SGAX LUX2 holster. And holy crap what a game changer this thumb rest is. Just doing dry fire with it til I can get to the range but this feels amazing on my gen 3 Glock 19. Completely changes the ergonomics and overall grip feels amazing. Can't wait to shoot it. Also, I found it insanely easy to install by just pushing out the trigger pin with the thumb rest pin. Popped right in no problem. Thanks for making this!
@@Davepool_TF-69 Thanks! Tenicor sent pictures showing it is clear of the built in wedge, so we have one on order. Thanks for the heads up and will test as well to add it on the site.
Will this work in a safariland holster? I'm using a 6365RDS and I really want to run a thumb rest on my glock.
Yes, works great!
@@aligntactical Thank you
I wish they were a bit bigger. It only fits like half my thumb. (Thats what she said)
went the minimal effective profile route to make it easier to carry and fit some of the popular duty holsters on the market vs. competition only.
Is this item available for the G20/40/21/41 Gen 4? Thanks in advance.
Currently in production and will be released towards the end of next month
Is there one for the Gen 5 g19 for lefty's?
Not yet, but will be in the future
Got one for my 19. Really want another for my 43x!!!!!! You guys gotta make it!
working on it 👍
Do you need a custom holster now that you have installed the new piece?
We have an ongoing list of all manufacturers that are compatible with each of our thumb rests on each product page of our website.
I have watched many rival and tp9 take down videos and yours is the best one by a long shot! The others don’t even compare to how understandable yours is.
Thanks!!
Nice wirk
Thanks!
Do the left handed one already.
We just did for the P365 left-handed and is nearly sold out. Next month we'll have more as well as the lefty P320 version. Thanks!
Would this work on a tp9sfx?
Unfortunately it is not compatible with the TP9 series, as they use a roll pin instead of a solid internally locked pin. Also, the TP9 series does not have the frame recess needed for the anti-rotation stop.
good video, gave you a sub.
Now, if they'll make one for us Left handed folks.
we're thinking of you all and is in future plans
What about 43X?
Will be testing those soon
Fantastic video! Your clear instructions along with camera angles made this installation a breeze. Thank you.
Thanks so much!
You guys shuld make one for the 3 pin models. California still only uses Gen 3 Glocks. And being able to disassemble your gun without tool would be nice.
It works for the Gen 3 Compacts like the 19 size. We're currently manufacturing all other models and should be released in late March. We've got you covered.

@@aligntactical thanks!!
How is the long term durability in regard to Glock frame holes enlarging from recoil?
The trigger pin is the same spec as OEM and is pushed in by hand pressure, so no enlarging of the hole as it is rotational. Only pressure applied is within the disassembly channel from the anti-rotation stop and no visible difference after thousands of rounds fired in normal use.
Great instructional video. Now the hard part is finding a holster.
