thanks bud. I was being very cautious, I dont like flaps on this bird and I need to dial down the sensitivity of the sticks. I went with the manual setup but. Im still working on getting dialed in. Any suggestions on setting.

Yeah with flaps on and those slats when it was landing it just hung in the air and when it did land it would almost just flop down, when i didnt use flaps it was much better and even better with no slats or flaps my landings got much smoother. alot stuff came up this month for me and i havent had much time on my days off but we will fly before the season is over.

I found after a few flights i took off those slats and used no flap and my landings got alot smoother. Thanks Jeff

I have a large set a floats that should fit on it but it also is a electronic water rudder with a servo so i will split it off into the rudder slot on the receiver when i do the floats and see if it works. Im taking it out to maiden tomorrow. Well see. Thanks bud.

Hi Joe, Yes, I agree that my next plane would be an Apprentice, but I still love the pusher Aero Scout which flips over in wind but doesn't hurt the prop. Do you know if it can have the virtual fence feature or would I have to change out receivers (AR637T + GPS Module)? 100 + flights on the Aero Scout and 2 fly away's. Am slow to learn...72 years since I was nine wanting to fly r/c. Ha.

@@alexmorgan7009 idk bc i dont have that plane. It would say in the manual if you can set that up with the mods. The fence is ok but you will prob not use it much.

No idk where angel is, something is going on with him and ive been calling and emailing him and he doesnt respond. He has alot of my planes and i have $thousands of bucks invested in some projects and im getting upset bc idk what is happening? I went to his flying field the other day to ask if anyone has seen him and they all said no. The guy who he shares a hanger with hasnt seen him in months and i couldnt take my planes in the hanger bc the guy he shares it with didnt want me to take my stuff bc he didnt want to be responsible for letting me and i understand that. I may have to file something in a magistrate court and i dont want to but something is going on and its not like him to be like this. Idk im pretty upset a out this and i hope nothing happen to him??

The only time i had issues when starting up is i had it to close to a metal shed. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for it to connect.

Why would I delete all my models before updating? Saving all models to a SD card is what you do as you go along. Updating firmware is a what you do when you update the transmitter. Im not sure what your saying???

yeah its a very fast and nice boat. I wont maiden it until a friend of mine get back from vacation. Ive seen one to many vids on that bird about all the issues and he is my test pilot before I fly my more difficult planes.
