- super timber 1.7m maiden flight. It's a superman plane and hope you enjoy it and please like and sub to my channel. flaps aren't needed when landing the super timber has a huge wing and when landing just adjust your thottle and let it land. thanks bud. I was being very cautious, I dont like flaps on this bird and I need to dial down the sensitivity of the sticks. I went with the manual setup but. Im still working on getting dialed in. Any suggestions on setting.

I found after a few flights i took off those slats and used no flap and my landings got alot smoother. Thanks Jeff
Great Maiden Joe, Perfect day for it. Mid Rates are more than enough for scale flying for sure. Your non flap landing are good because you had the slats on which helps. I use 1/2 flaps because I do not use slats unless STOL flying. I look forward to getting together and flying someday soon.
Yeah with flaps on and those slats when it was landing it just hung in the air and when it did land it would almost just flop down, when i didnt use flaps it was much better and even better with no slats or flaps my landings got much smoother. alot stuff came up this month for me and i havent had much time on my days off but we will fly before the season is over.
