Hey Joe! Thanks for showing us how to do this. It was very helpful after I did the factory reset. Thanks again 😊, Mark

    1. You were doing great until you flipped the plane upside down. The ailerons will zip back and forth if the gyro is reversed and if it's correct. You have to look at which way they're moving to make sure the plane will roll back to right side up. If the gyro is reversed, it will roll to inverted. All you need to do is tilt the plane 45° and make sure the ailerons and elevator will put the plane back into level flight.
    2. The default SAFE gain for roll and pitch is 35%. I lower the SAFE gain for roll to 25 or 30 and increase the SAFE pitch gain to 45 or 50 so that I have enough elevator travel to rotate on takeoff and flare when landing in SAFE mode.
    3. I set the High THR>ELE mix to 0 (or disable it) because I don't want my planes to climb at full throttle. You need to set the Low THR>ELE mix to about 5° nose down so that the plane won't get too slow when you throttle back.
    4. I don't use the adjustable AS3X gains either. However, I set the AS3X gains to 30% for roll, 40% for pitch, and 50% for yaw. After I fly the plane some, I might start increasing all of them by 10% at a time until I see nervousness or oscillation and then lower them all by 10%.
    5. I check the gyro direction on the rudder by holding the plane in front of me with the nose toward my stomach. Then I rotate one way or the other to make sure the rudder deflects toward the direction of rotation.

thank you for that info and they all roll the right way when I do the 45degree test and it rolls back the right direction when I flipped it over and back so all looks good. I will check out those other settings and make that determination once I get it out to the field and have my bud check them out for me. Like I may have said this was really my first time actually doing it. I can setup a plane and build them and program the trans right but this was my first time doing fwd program for the receiver and the all surfaces are are moving correctly with the gyro but I will look them over again and go from there. Thanks again and I gave your chan a like and sub and will watch more of your vids.

You need to delete all models before updating.

Why would I delete all my models before updating? Saving all models to a SD card is what you do as you go along. Updating firmware is a what you do when you update the transmitter. Im not sure what your saying???
