- F14 Freewing f14 unboxing and setup part 1. im going to show you how to setup and build the F14 with new gyro and how it all works. Its a first for motionrc and freewing with this new gyro system it has self leveling, stabilation mode and off.

Yeah I may change the decals and Im going to put a second pilot in. IDK why they didnt just put both pilots in? the cockpit is a bit small for a fpv cam so I think they just want you to spend the money to buy the accessory.

Sorry! are you familiar with the FMS Reflex module or spektrum safe/as3x receivers? MotionRc has now installed a gyro or Im going to call it a 3 flight mode system. where you can have all gyros turned off, or stabilization mode which helps when flying for wind compansation or self leveling or safe mode meaning that the bird has limited bank and roll ability and if the plane gets into a sticky situation and you wasnt in safe or self leveling mode you can switch into that mode and the plane will recover and fly straight and level so you can get you plane back instead of crashing. MotionRc had to come up with there version to compete with FMS and Horizon Hobby and this is a break threw for them. I hope this clears it up for you and I will explain better in my build video.
