Mild Traumatic Brain Injury
www.doereport.com/ This 3D medical animation depicts and explains the mechanism for mild traumatic brain injury. Two types of coup-contrecoup injury are shown: low-speed coup-contrecoup injury, and high-speed coup-contrecoup injury. The high-speed coup-contrecoup injury creates apparent contusions. The low-speed coup-contrecoup injury has damage from shifting layers within the brain at the microscopic level. This animation shows axonal-shearing or how axons rip away from the cell bodies of neurons during coup-contrecoup, and the degenerative damage that occurs later.

Broke both my femurs in may and got two rods placed but they inserted them through my knees
I had this done in 2016, I only remember waking to meet my surgeon doped up bc i felt no pain. Then aftermath excrutiating pain with rods.
ThE WALL OF FLESH!!
I had my done 6 years ago but I had stones they removed them first pretty sick surgery was 5 hours pain from gas hurt worst then anything
I hade this done last week
I had this surgery last month 23 may 2024
I had this done in 2022. Open fracture of my femur. Open fracture of my tibia and fibula at the same time. I had 22 screws and 3 plates in my tibia because it shattered in multiple pieces and they couldn’t put a nail in. 18 months later (March 2024) x rays showed my femur healed nicely but tibia was non union. I just had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove the 22 screws and 3 plates and a nail put in from my knee to my ankle. Now my whole right leg is 2 nails. Worst pain I ever felt in my life. I crawled out the windshield of the car with these injuries and collapsed when my leg folded in half. I’ve now had 4 surgeries and a blood transfusion during my femur surgery. Wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
JazakAllah Khair Thanks starting treatment from today and will inform you about the progress
The pain sucks

Which country best surgery i have malonion femur
Malta 🇲🇹
Should you get the rod removed after a year
It usually won’t hurt anything to stay in. Consult with your doctor if it starts to hurt really bad but mine is most likely going to stay forever
Thankyou for great explanation
Same fracture too much problem
Ok, but what is the point of that ligament that is cut? There’s no downside? What is/was the ligaments purpose?
You’ll lost your hand strength and eventually scar tissue will develop and you’ll need surgery again ;))
I still have that rod and screws in my femur. I guess its for life now
Do you experience any pain?
@@flavia1394 na. Not really.
Getting my gallbladder removed on the 19th,been waiting 3 years for this, not had an attack for maybe a year now though
Just had carpal tunnel release surgery this morning. I can tell these exercises will help a lot. Thx for posting!
Ain't having one
I cured myself 15 years ago without surgery. Even cured my body of my once brutal sciatic nerve pain. Learn your human body, cure yourself. Never sick, never tired.
Yup I agree, surgery is not an option
Eugh they just leave your bones sticking out like that?
Thank you 👌
I had TBI, in 1975 called closed head trauma and incapacitated with contusion of the spinal cord. I had bleeding in every quadrant they said, signed me out of the hospital to private care 'approved by The Surgeon General of the Army, the orthopedist said. I never returned to duty, 4 months later Honorable Discharged unfit for service unspecified reasons. The U.S. Army did nothing for me, and when I heard soldiers had TBI from Iran missile attack I sent a letter to The Pentagon General Milley offering the benefit of my treatment and rehab. I had advantage of best care, all on charity. Dr. Sheldon Berrol, MD physical medicine and rehabilitation has a national prize in his name. I got a polite, no thank you. These are the pictures General Milley gave 1.3 $Billion instead? At the level of the whole person, TBI and stroke are equivalent trauma injuries. I had every symptom of stroke. I helped at American Heart Association Stroke Support Group because I had it all but I had benefit of special ed and speech therapy graduate school major coordinators that sign off professional qualifications. I had every advanced method physiotherapy. I had UCLA Pain Clinic methodology. The psychiatrist report was by Dr. Wolfgang Lederer, MD Psychiatrist who has a U.C. Fellowship in his name. I had World Health Organization rating report of those years used by Dr. Sheldon Berrol, MD to train diagnostics and writing a rating report at each training hospital where he went. It is mild, moderate, severe neurological impairments injuries best classified with that rating report years because neurological impairments are fully delineated. The rules say, you can use any recognized rating report so choose the rating report form that best addresses the injuries: even numerous mild add up to uninsurable and unemployable at the workplace. Mine are mild, moderate, and severe. The contusion of the spinal cord worsened symptomatically then gradual improvement over years to relearn to walk and hand therapy for wheelchair controls then up to the level of function after living years assisted living in a handicapped unit and having rehab up to living independently by 1999-2000. Each time the record sent in, it all must have been shredded. The U.S. Army and their surrogate bureaucracy VA Veteran's Administration is unwilling to help the veteran, and our government is hopelessly corrupt to have abandoned military service veterans. By law, signed out to civilian medical care my status for months was Casual and discharge criminal the Medical Board Presiding Officer ordered not to convene a Medical Board and Physical Exam Section Dr. Eaton, MD ordered to list no injuries. I should have my pay thru all the years and retired out with retirement benefits or have it all disabled. Far fetched? The U.S. Army sent draftees home on casual status, sent paychecks, and after the drafted time in service Honorable Discharge. How do I know? Ft. Ord training fort Personnel Management. I was Presidio of San Francisco CONUS Personnel Management honored in 1975 and mistreated. This is a glimpse at how deep the corruption runs. I put some hope in Trump who was sidelined by aggression of the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats in the government. If you have any interest in those injured, look at U.S. Code language and match medical diagnostics language to their language, explaining this applies. If you are unwilling to do that, the injured will not have their S.S.D.I. Social Security Disability Insurance or their military service benefits. I am saying, if the state has no board certification in neurology, as did State of California, and no knowledge how to proceed, you will find no more than another hack doing nothing for their patient than their cashing in on insurance until used up.
Only use samples from blood to help caract or lense replacement or some form of tissues
Only take sample from the left eye due to the cells structure
I appreciate the informative anatomical video on knee arthroscopy. Im gonna have arthroscopic surgery in the next few weeks for knee arthritis and I have a way better understanding of it now
How r u doing after the procedure? My Dr told me I need to get it done for both knees.
@@gabbymtz6205 Great and fully recovered. Had to wear a knee immobilizer for several hours after surgery, but could take it off after that. Took several weeks to get full range of motion back in knee. Did strengthening and stretching exercises for six weeks after surgery every day and iced knee once or twice a day as well for swelling to gradually go down. The final two weeks I did legit light weight strengthening exercises for lower body and took Oxycodon and Aspirin medications as well. After six weeks of all that I was cleared. Am about to get a knee aspiration done in the next few weeks to drain fluid build up in the knee for the remaining swelling to go down though
In this surgery there is full body anaesthesia or only lower part anesthesia...plz tell...how much time it takes...
@@pritambhattacharjee3895 it is a full body anesthesia and it only takes an hour. At least for me
@@pritambhattacharjee3895 I had this surgery done and they administered me lower part anesthesia. It took me about 1.30 to 2 hours to recover from the numbness.
I really need this surgery done
I have the exact post traumatic bone fragments as shown in the video in my right femur. The surgery was done two Nail/Rod having two screws in proximal femur (top part) and one screw distal femur (bottom). It was done last month. I just hope that vertical bone fragment attach properly with the rest of the bone.
I got this done 3 weeks ago as I was the Victim of a hit and run… thaTs insane
Me too been 4 months ago since it happened and still on crutches, are you walking though?
I have it as well. The other driver did a u turn, and I flew into the air as I was on my motorcycle. It's been 7 months, but I still have to use crutches for long walking distances and downhills.
