@@gabbymtz6205 Great and fully recovered. Had to wear a knee immobilizer for several hours after surgery, but could take it off after that. Took several weeks to get full range of motion back in knee. Did strengthening and stretching exercises for six weeks after surgery every day and iced knee once or twice a day as well for swelling to gradually go down. The final two weeks I did legit light weight strengthening exercises for lower body and took Oxycodon and Aspirin medications as well. After six weeks of all that I was cleared. Am about to get a knee aspiration done in the next few weeks to drain fluid build up in the knee for the remaining swelling to go down though

I just had surgery 2 days ago. The surgery went super ok, no pain at all, just some weird sensations, I was mesmerised by the procedure (I was watching it on the screen the entire time)
The anesthesia was administered into my spine and numbed me from the pelvic area down to the feet. In one hour I was done. Fortunately for me the cartilage and meniscus were OK, only had one big piece of bone like that was wondering around free in my knee (about 2,5cm large) (most probably from erosion the mensicus and cartilage I've had in the past). The recovery is going quite ok for now, no pain at all, just some weird sensations from the anesthesia (head pain, dizziness, vomiting) I can already put some weight on the leg.

Good for you, I had my done 7 years ago on the left knee and I had a great fast recovery , 4 days ago I had it done on my right knee, so far so good, I was able to put some weight on my right knee , I’m still wearing crutches 🩼, I wanted to ask you how long it took you to be able to walk without them? Thanks !

@@M777S7 my doctor recommended me that after one and a half week have passed since surgery I can already give up on one crutch, and after maybe 2 weeks and few days I was able to walk quite ok with no help, mostly I was just afraid to use the leg.
Now, I'm walking with no problem. No pain no nothing. Im still waiting to be contacted by a doctor to start the medical recovery (Physical therapy, massages, physiotherapy) because I've lost elasticity on ligmanets(also from past trauma and I havent had proper medical recovery) , and that as I heard, will be quite the challenge (includes work and pain).

@@user-wp1bw8no9g is not 100% normal. I can continue my everyday tasks. But i still don't have 100% same strength, confidence and balance in that knee as in the healthy one. I keep myself away from lifting heavy weights and doing sports like football in which the knee is very prone to damage.
But I can work, run, climb and all of them moves. I'm open for more questions if you have.

Im back. The surgery went good. The doctors found a 2, 5cm long bone like piece ( from old traumas, erosion of cartilages and meniscus). I did not required any more interventions such as reparation of the meniscus nor the cartilajes.
Now I need medical recovery that includes Physical therapy, physiotherapy and massages that, as I heard, is the real challenge (i lost a bit of muscular strength, but the real problem is that I have lost the elasticity in the knee ligaments (I can't bend my knee less than 80° degrees))
Since the surgery, I have little to no pain, I can walk just fine, put weigth on the leg, also I had to do daily some special exercises that prevent you from not losing too much muscular strength.
