Thanks man! Yessir. I've been off the radar a bit. But I'm currently expecting a wave of new pairs. September should be a busy month for me. I'll be starting off comparing the Yu shuai 18 low regulars to the low 18 ultras, then I'll go from there.

Spot on! Definitely is. That's still the worst part about the shoes for me. The midfoot could be way more comfortable. On the pair I got, I still feel that pressure on my left foot.

Its definitely close, I have them both as top performers, the major difference would be that the cushion on the Kai 1's might lag a little bit in comparison to the AC 12 which is relatively on the responsive side so it boils down to your play style, if you're a quick guard and get by on court feel an all that, go for the AC12s, if you like a more plush, comfortable setup, then go for the Kai 1s.

Got you bro. I would go with the 4 ultras, it has more bounce than the AC12s and the impact protection is improved from the previous versions although it's not the best out there. It also has a carbon fiber plate so better stability and energy return for your position. The midfoot strap is also really nice and keeps you locked into the shoe.

@@PrinceynerLionel sure thing bro. so from my personal experience, the wow 11 is more comfortable for wide footers (especially the forefoot) and has better impact protection. The 4 ultra has slightly more bounce to it, has by far the better traction performance on dusty surfaces, has a more durable outsole( do not play with the 11s outdoors please), and is more breathable. I started off playing a lot in the 11s, but these days I've been enjoying playing the ultra 4s a little bit more.

The dust performance and durability definitely jumped out at me. They should have gone with the same CGU implementation of the yu shuai 18 ultra at least. The all city 12s and 808 4 ultras are good choices for sure. With the regular 12s giving more courtfeel than the 808 4 ultras. Those do better on dust and durability as well in comparison to the 11s.

Yeah the traction on a dusty court is indeed not the best. They somehow managed to implement the CGU traction on the yu shuai line in a less effective way.

I would go go for the ac12 sunshine state personally for volley-ball, just because it's generally more comfortable so far, and has slightly better courtfeel. Only downside if you play on a concrete court is that the upper of the AC 12 sunshine isn't the most durable.

They play very similar actually. The encores are more breathable, while the 11s are more comfortable. If I had to make a pick, I would go with the WoW 11s.

@@lvplt5003 The boom foam is thicker in the 808 4 ultras which I like (and is really needed actually because of the drop in midsole setup). the 808 4 ultras also have a carbon fibre mid foot plate which improves heel to toe transition. Cushion is good in the regular AC12s and the Encores, with the regular AC12s being more responsive and the encores playing a bit more like the 808 4 ultras.

I would personally go wow 11, then ac 12, then shockwave pro... the ac12 does have a plastic torsional plate vs the carbon Fibre plate in the shockwave pro, however I prefer the way the AC 12 plays. The shockwave 6 pro should be out soon hopefully though, so I'll let you know how that plays

@@ronaldjo27 Yeah, so the regulars didnt get a lot of love because they are typically the same shoe but with a plastic torsional plate. So a lot of people just skipped to the version with a carbon fibre plate.

@@theshoesayer my 2 808 2 v2 and 808 3 are still intacted and no wear in the outsole, and they already released the 808 4s🥲

Yeah to be honest the real difference between the 3s and the 4s is that the foam is a bit thicker and there is softer plastic in the heel for the 4s, so cushion and impact protection is improved, but asides that, you should be okay with your 808 3s , especially if you are a guard who is light on your feet.

Yeah they definitely have a wider base. Especially in the forefoot. I like the room, it makes for a more comfortable ride as a have a slightly wide foot.

Personally, after playing in them some more. I would favor the summer AC 12s a little bit, just because the midfoot discomfort I talked about in the video on the left pair keeps bothering me. Asides from that(assuming it's just the pair I got), I enjoy the cushion setup in the encores better. One thing though, if you play outdoors at all, I would suggest you go with the summer AC12s.

​@@TheVeganHooper I got you! So they definitely feel like leather to touch and on foot. Tech specs on antosports, wowsole and Famuji also say its regular leather. So they did a great job. However, I ran some old school test, with water, scent, looking closely at the grain patterns etc.... My verdict is that the leather is synthetic... but one of the better ones I've come across.

Yeah, its great on the Yu shuai series, but here instead of doing standard grooves, there are a more flat surfaces which make it pick up dust a bit easier. Similar implementation on the WoW 11s. So its not awful on dust pick up, just not the best out there.

So personally, I did enjoy playing in them over the wow 10s. I would probably pick these first, then the 11s, then the 10s..... but let me break it down comparing the 3: Comfort and Fit Wow 11- 1st (very comfortable, but there is a lack of ventilation) WoW 10 - 2nd (not the best for wide footers. felt some discomfort in my pinkie toe) Wade 808 4 Ultra - 2nd (the most breathable option of the three) Cushion setup Wow 11- 1st (full boom as usual but slightly more responsive than the wow 10) WoW 10- 2nd (great set up, but can be a bit of lag in the heel if im nitpicking) Wade 808 4 Ultra- 2nd (impact protection is improved in comparison to older models) Traction Performance Wow 11- 2nd (not the best on super dusty courts, the traction has a lot of flat surfaces.. not sure why they did that) WoW 10- 1st (standard no nonesense grooves throughout the outsole. Can pick up dust though especially on really dusty courts) Wade 808 4 Ultra- 1st (has some cutouts in the outsole, but makes up for it with tuff rb compound with coarse finish) Traction Durability Wow 11- 3rd (a no-go for outdoor play) WoW 10- 1st Wade 808 4 Ultra- 2nd (deep and hard groooves, only second because of the cut-outs in the outsole) Weight Wow 11- 1st WoW 10- 2nd Wade 808 4 Ultra- 3rd (they are all super lightweight though. Just nitpicking) I have the full detailed review for all three shoes on my channel if you would like even more detail.

Not really, the drop in midsole for the 4 ultras are thicker in the heel and forefoot, so if you put them in he SPOs, that leaves less room for your foot overall, making your foot feel even tighter than they would typically feel in the SPOs... So in theory you could, but its not a great fit in my opinion.

The algae upper isnt bad at all. weight isnt an issue. Also it actually hides scuffs and creases in comparison to the patent leather and normal leather variants respectively. The green colorway means you can also get away with some dirt on your shoe, increasing the intervals between cleaning. Only thing that time will tell in terms of durability is if the threads will start to come off eventually, or if the material in the toe box will wear overtime, especially if you play with a lot of toe drags on an outdoor court but thats a risk that you face with all upper types because there isnt a separate fuse section or wear resistant material in the toebox for the 21s . When I played in my pair, they stayed intact. Finally, ventilation isnt the best, but its the same for other uppers as well. You should be fine if you play indoors with air conditioning.

I would personally go with these. They've built on the job done with the 808 3 ultra v2 low, giving this better cushion and better impact protection.

the widest part of the shoe is about 11.5cm at the ball of your foot and the most narrow part is about 8cm at the midfoot for a size 9.5

@@Swi2thMummbles Sure thing. yeah so if you have wider feet, the WoW 11 should be good as well in terms of a shoe that should work for wide footers where you still get max performance (only thing is that the outsole material will wear out on an outdoor court). From a performance perspective, I would put the 8084ultra above the shadow mainly because of the cushion setup, however, the shadows are solid shoes overall. I would probably suggest the Anta Kai 1s as best overall value for a shoe that wide footers can play in as well. They have more room in the toe box, cushion is great, lockdown is good too.

Sure thing bro. I suggest you go for the 808 4 Ultra it keeps all the good things about the 808 3 ultra v2 but is slightly bouncer and has better impact protection. They are super fun to play in

Thanks bro. I would say WoW 10 low is slightly more responsive and has more impact protection. I would also suggest the anta Kai 1s (although they only ship to the US for now) If you are okay with mid cut shoes that play like lows. I would definitely suggest the wow11s if you play mostly indoors and the yu shuai 18 ultras if you play outdoors sometimes.

Its pretty good, but not the best ive tested. I would say its above average though. Wiping is pretty straight forward though.

I would say WOW 10 overall. Although I prefer playing in the WoW 11 better personally because they are more comfortable for my feet specifically. Only knock on them is that the lack of outsole durability. Now that's for WOW shoes. We would still have to have another conversation for other wade brand basketball shoes.
